“The banana shake ice cream is to die for! Hubs got the coconut pineapple then tasted mine - he had to get back in line to get some and a Salty Sausalito (that was really good too!) to take home. They don't have or do pints to to take home so he had to get a double scoop in a cup - it was pricey at almost $10 but tasted just as good the next day right out of the freezer. This shop is totally cute too! Lots of sweets to choose from, from fudge to Ghirardelli offerings. An employee was making fresh made caramel stir stir stirring the pot the entire time we were there sitting at a table enjoying our order. There was no one in line when we ordered about 2p on the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, but a line quickly formed. They didn't get as busy as the other ice cream spot practically across the street but I don't know why. Service was great also. We definitely will be back to enjoy their unique flavors & flavor concoctions again the next time we are in the area.”

“Another must-visit spot when you're in SF Japantown. Since my first visit, it's become a regular stop, and I consistently end up making a purchase. Even as someone who typically only enjoys mochi ice cream and isn't a fan of regular mochi, the offerings here are too tempting to resist.We sampled the chocolate mochi in-store, and after they generously allowed us to try a whole piece, we were impressed. Although we enjoyed that flavor, we ultimately chose the strawberry mochi, which turned out to be exceptional. The sweetness was perfectly balanced, neither overwhelming nor bland. It's an ideal place to pick up gifts for your travels or simply treat yourself. The selection includes candies, savory senbei/rice cracker snacks, mochi, teas, cookies, and more. Personally, my favorites to indulge in are the Harajuku Mochi Chocolates in matcha and strawberry flavors!Moreover, they offer intriguing collaboration items featuring series like Demon Slayer and characters like Hello Kitty and Kumamon. Each item is elegantly packaged and ready to be presented straight from the shop.It's worth noting that many items here are directly imported from Japan, offering a unique selection beyond what you'd find in the snacks/gift section at places like Tokyo Central, Nijiya, Mitsuwa, etc. Whether you're a fan of Japanese sweets and snacks or someone who enjoys trying new and different things, a visit here is highly recommended! I'll definitely be returning for their mochi.Their store is located within Japan Center West Mall. If you spot the prominent signage outside, simply proceed straight in, and you'll quickly find their store.”

“Love coming here! The owners are the sweetest (no pun intended). The selection here is great, you can find Asian candy, European candy and the regular American ones like sour patch kids. They just added an ice cream section which I am obsessed with! Overall this pace is a kids dream and an adults playground when it comes it candy. Definitely a place to visit!”

“See's has streamlined and improved the holiday shopping experience. It was orderly, quick, and the service was super. Even on a busy day, everyone was helped, moved through the line quickly, and got what they needed. My only surprise was the very limited assortment of candies for Passover. I'd hoped for a lovely box of Kosher chocolates--but all they had were milk chocolate coins, lollipops, and toffeetts. Still, See's can't be topped.”

“A friend sent me some bacon and lavender crack from Nosh This as a pick-me-up during this time of shelter. A freakin' wonderful surprise! I've never had them before and didn't know what to expect. Let me say that I was hesitant on both accounts. Bacon in my chocolate?! Lavender in my dessert...? I was iffy, to say the least, although I do LOVE chocolate. Thank GOODNESS the bacon crack comes in a 4-piece set! I could literally eat a vat of it, of course, not feeling well afterwards...but it's that damn good and addictive. The "problem" is that it sticks in your teeth so you're like "I'm not going to have another one" and walk away but the salt and fat and sweet just stay in your mouth and you're obsessing and then you go in again for another. A horribly delicious cycle of insanity! As for the lavender, I have never liked flowers in my food. Rose in desserts or jasmine in my tea are not my favorites, so I procrastinated on that one, as well. Thankful that the bag was small. I inhaled the pieces in 1 sitting. haha Again...IT'S SO GOOD!!! The flavors and the chocolate consistency are SO AMAZING. I will be buying these products as gifts for friends and definitely want to consume (a TON) again in the near future! Thankful for my friend for the wonderful gift and for Kai for making amazing treats. =)”

“Tried the beignets at Off the Grid at Fort Mason! Lovely way to finish the night. We got the Strawberry cheesecake one, and the filling was DELICIOUS. so creamy and added a good amount of sweetness to the bread. The other one was Apple Pie filling, but it was slightly dry. Make sure you enjoy them by the fire pits :)”

“This candy shop has a wide variety of candy and a great selection of salt water taffy.The taffy is purchase by weight, so grab a wicker basket and fill it was you go through.The only downsides were:There wasn't many diabetic/sugar free options.They must have had airconditioning previously as most of the individually wrapped hard candy by the windows had melted at one point. I'm sure it was fine but It looked unappealing.Dietary restrictions: There is a.small section of sugar free/diabetic friendly at the entrance to your right hand side.”

“Last time I came to this shop was before COVID and the variety has not changed a bit. Candy and chocolate from floor to ceiling. Chocolate covered strawberries and caramel apples are usually my choices.Parking: There is paid street parking all around, there are paid parking lots all around. Depending on the day it will be a challenge to park anywhere so come prepared to search.Kid-friendliness: Yes what kid doesn’t like candy or chocolate?Wheelchair accessibility: Most definitely but it is a tight store with a center median be aware.”

“After running an annoying errand, my partner and I decided to stop and get some See's chocolate on the way home. We live close by to this shop and so every now and then we'll stop in and treat ourselves to a pound of treats that we pick out in-store. I have never been to this location and had a bad experience, ever! It's the friendliest, loveliest experience every single time. Aside from them not always having milk chocolate Scotchmallow bars (they always have dark, but not always milk), this shop couldn't be more perfect! We'll keep stopping in here as long as it stays open!”

“Really nice collection of chocolates with varied flavors. The store is a paradise for kids craving for candies and toys. We tried Oreo Chocolate/Vanilla ice cream with waffle cone and Dark Chocolate Breakup pieces. Both costed around $5 a piece but was super tasty and fresh. Highly recommended if you folks are in the area and craving for some real sugar goodness.”
