If you like fluffy, light as a cloud scrambled eggs, this is the place. Tasty breakfast. Daughter loves fried French toast. Sausalito. Mimosas and coffee refills. Nice atmosphere.

Went for a morning drive to Sausalito from San Francisco. I hadn’t been to this town in ages & wanted to revisit this charming town. I googled places for breakfast & Fred’s looked promising so we headed there. There’s a small shared parking lot next to the cafe & plenty of street parking. It’s a small cafe with some outdoor seating & it was pretty busy on Saturday morning. We were seated at a large shared table with two other people. They didn’t mind & neither did we. Extensive menu- I’d read the most popular items are the lemon ricotta pancakes, egg plate with sweet bacon, deep fried French toast & the Swedish, but looking at fellow customers plates who’d ordered some of the dishes, I decided I could not eat such large portions! I went for the single berry waffle & my husband ordered the veggie omelette. The waffle was delicious; only wish the syrup they served was realMaple syrup. I don’t eat the fake stuff so I skipped it. The omelette was very nice & came with toast & hash browns. We had ordered cappuccino & laughed when we saw the size of the “cup” - almost like a mini bathtub! I’m fussy about my coffee & this one just ok.Overall, a nice little place to enjoy breakfast before walking down to the marina & town center.

wow what a great place. first off, the food was beyond delicious, every bite brought me happiness, but that does not even compare to the customer service. I called online to place an order and was immediately treated so well and with so much love and respect. And going into the little cafe to pick up my order was everything I could have hoped for. Greeted with the same level of comfort and happiness, I left feeling better than when I walked in. thank you fred.

This was the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Freshly made orange juice, the sweet bacon was so good, and everything tasted fresh. The staff were friendly and QUICK with service.

I rarely find myself in Sausalito, but for some reason, I was curious to take the Golden Gate Transit bus from the Salesforce Transit Center to Marin just to see how long it took. It wasn't too bad, but I found myself feeling peckish and wondering where a local might go to gorge. Strolling up Bridgeway, I saw that this cafe was quite the bustling hive of activity. Clearly this was the place to grab a bite from the grill. I could only secure a seat at the counter, which was honestly just fine by me even with elbows flying. Although I was tempted by their generous breakfast plates, I surprised myself and ordered the $18 Tiger Shrimp Salad, which was a bit short on grilled shrimp. The rest of it was fine - spinach, tomato, cucumber, olives, green onion, and feta cheese (photo: It came with wheat toast and Italian dressing on the side. I had the $4.50 Arnold Palmer to wash it all down (photo: It's definitely a place where the grill is the center of the action, and the staff was busy flipping eggs, potatoes, burgers and ribeye cheesesteaks. They looked to have a pretty loyal following for breakfast judging by the crowd. I'll need to take an earlier bus. FOOD - 3 stars...pretty good spinach salad with a few shrimp AMBIANCE - 3 stars...busy and packed diner SERVICE - 3 stars...speedy for sure TOTAL - 3 stars...probably need to be a regular to appreciate it RELATED - Exploring the North Bay? DoorDash and Yelp both said they open at 7:00am. Ordered for pick up via DoorDash and went to pick up order after about 30 minutes, they confirmed order, but they tell me they don't open until 8:00am. They need to update their hours and not open the DoorDash hours until they're actually open for business. Won't be coming back!

Great little place to stop for a quick bite. Right outside SF past the Golden Gated heading North. 8 min from the Vista Point. Service was fast, and food hit the spot. We arrived around 11, and I was able to get breakfast while my son got lunch. We sat at the bar as to enjoy some father son time together, being able to watch the chef put the food together is always a treat. Prices we’re decent for todays world, will make this a routine stop on long trips north.Parking: Free street parking means you may have to search a little, we were lucky and got a spot right around the corner. Look on both sides of the streets around it as you may find more available there.

Be aware that the portions are pretty big so be sure you're hungry and plan accordingly. You'll also want to be aware that they have a single occupancy restroom so it can sometimes be a 5 or 10 minute wait depending on how long the line isVegetarian options: They have some vegetarian friendly options
