I love hairprint products. Despite that hairprint color is not covering 100% gray hair, and it is messy, I've learned how to use it for better experience. First of all, before you start make sure to wear old t-shirt that you don't need. Second, cover the place near the sink with paper towels and floor as well. Third, apply the product little by little very carefully. Forth, don't wash your hair in the shower!!! Wash it in the sink and wash it in the end of the process, not after every application. Finally, please before the application apply little bit of oil around your face and ears. Give it a try and you will love it. My first time using the color was terrible, I thought I will never use this product again. I kept mastering my skills and techniques and it worth it. Best hair color ever, nochemicals, my hair looks 20 years younger! Highly recommended!

Ive been using this for 5 years now and have seen the dye very watery and messy, splashing literally all over the bathroom. Finally I got comfortable doing it without a mirror, got bottles to squirt it onto my hair with the shower curtain closed, and that helped a lot. Tricky though because it didnt all fit in one large bottle, so I had to mix it and then pour it into 2 bottles after it stopped expanding in volume. I like the results and really appreciate that it doesnt damage my hair like other natural dyes, but I always put off doing it because of the mess and time involved. The last time I used it, the formulation is now thick enough to apply with my hands, not splashy, and just as effective, if not more so. Much better! I use their shampoos and conditioner and dont shampoo every day, so the cost is okay over time. I also use their oils on my hair sometimes before shampooing.

What an incredible product! It took me a couple of applications to get the hang of it but it's amazing. The first time I used it I got about 85% coverage but now I get about 95%. If I wanted 100% coverage I'd go back to conventional dye. But with my health issues I don't mind sacrificing a few grays. It's really important to take their recommendations and follow instructions. I don't know what all the dry hair talk is about. Mine has so much more body after using it. Who knows what people do to their hair. I'm happy I found this product!

Hair Print should advice people to also do the hair strand test as all chemicals hair dyes and not just say that is super safe that you can even eat it but guess as all greedy business money come first and the safety of people come next. When I contacted the company to complain about the hair loss I experienced using this product they basically said it is a try and faild type of thing., for some people worked fine but others do not so good luck. Sorry for your hair lost.. I have used hair dyes and even bleach for years and had more hair loss in a week with hair print that with chemicals that you guys criticized so much. So I dont know whats the super natural super safe part you claim about it. This company should do more research of the negative effects of using a super alkaline agent straight to your hair as baking soda.. being a 8.3 PH vers a 4.5 to 5.0 PH of the hair scalp.. even nature if is not use in a smart way can cause damage too and proved with this product.. dont know how long will take to restore my hair. Beside being a super very long complicated messy process the grey coverage doesnt do a good job and its visible as little as 2 weeks after its used. Plus the hair loss.

I've used this for a while and it was good at beginning, but now doesn't last long. They want you to do ANOTHER application to fully remove grey. Yes, shampoos and other products are overpriced. But what gets me is that there is no way to speak to anyone. **************** is bad. I DID put in an email and never got a response. Has potential, but they DID have a phone number before. Such a shame that companies are so disconnected from their customers.

For people with PPD allergies, this has been a godsend. This is not a permanent hair color so please have your expectations in check. I have not found anything that works as well. There are many products saying that they are "natural" and "organic" but still contain PPD or PTD. As someone who suffered horrific reactions to these chemicals, Hairprint has been a huge gift. If your hair feels dry, there are many natural products like argan oil, etc that can provide lustrious sheen and silky softness. Please give Hairprint a try. It has saved me for the last 5 years!

My skin is so sensitive, I cannot use conventional hair color. I am so happy with hairprint. It is time consuming to apply, but the results and non irritation to my scalp and skin is worth it. I am a licensed cosmetologist, and you need to follow directions. There are good you tube videos to show how to prepare and apply. I guess block out some time to do the application and use oil on the surrounding skin, face and ears to prevent coloration. The kit comes with chelating shampoo, restore powder and liquid and the complete powder and liquid. All food grade ingredients which I have found safe and effective. Thank you Hairprint.

This company is misleading consumers about its Hairprint coloring product. Despite buying a complete hair coloring kit, it didn't work, and they refuse refunds. A hair coloring kit should ideally come with everything required for a successful coloring experience. But this one doesn't. What they don't tell you--and instead they 'highly recommend'--is their chelating shampoo, which apparently is necessary for a proper hair coloring outcome. I bought this expensive hair coloring kit, followed the instructions for coloring, and it didn't work. I emailed customer service, and they said I needed to have used their special chelating shampoo. I asked, well why isn't it included in the kit, if it's needed for a proper color outcome? They wouldn't directly answer that question, and instead pointed me to instructions on the site (which still at no point say that the shampoo is a necessary part of the process--just recommended). If it's needed, they should include it in what they call their hair coloring kit. Happy to pay extra to have the shampoo, but otherwise they should note that it's an incomplete kit--or just start including the shampoo. My scalp is also very tight and dry after all this. Definitely don't recommend this product. You're better off with other organic or color options like henna, or eco-friendly brands. This is overpriced and doesn't even work.

After much contemplation, I ended up trying the Hairprint product to cover my grey. I have natural dark brown South East Asian hair texture. It massively damaged my otherwise healthy hair to a point where my hair is not extremely dull and straw like. I don't think this is a valid product hence, it should not be used or sold for that matter. It is sad that there are no thorough regulations when it comes to hair products. Please do not use this product!!

I bought this product and immediately was disappointed but thought it was worth it because it states its 100% chemical free. Where do I begin? The product is overpriced, if there's no chemicals, why is it so expensive? Its pretty much baking soda. The shampoo they tell you you need to use one week before is almost $30 for only 6 oz! This shampoo dries you hair out so bad it feels like you're washing straw. Then comes the actual process where you basically glop the messy baking soda mess all over your hair. When it dries it becomes like hardened mud that's nearly impossible to wash out! The process has you do this either 2 or 3 times! And they make it sound like the more you do this the easier it gets and the more coverage of grey you get. Except when you finish the # HOUR PROCESS, it leaves your hair feeling like the dried mud is still in it, because you can't wash it for another 24 hours! And when you finally wash it using shampoo and conditioner that costs $50, THAT doesn't even moisturize your hair! It feels even worse! So dry and brittle, you can't even comb through it! When you do its painful and you lose a LOT of hair. Every single thing in your bathroom will be stained black. My tub and sink are ruined and that's just from rinsing out my hair. I started to clean and scrub it immediately after getting out of the shower but it did nothing. That night I couldn't even sleep because my scalp itched so bad for hours. I have heard other women say it makes their hair fall out and its done the same to me. I used the product 3 weeks ago, they tell you to only use their shampoo but they don't tell you they won't refund you if anything goes wrong. I posted on their instagram page, this is how I discovered them. I was told to PM them but my message was never read, it still isn't! So weeks later I told them (this was after the first time I used the hair coloring product, I used it twice in total) my question still wasn't answered as to why my hair was so dry and brittle. They said they couldn't see my message anywhere and to send them an email. So I did. They asked me if I'd ever used organic beauty products, um yes, for over 15 years and I've NEVER had this problem! Then they actually had the nerve to say, "your hair must have been damaged before using our product." Unbelievable! Then they said was they'll issue me a gift card. I said I wanted my money back and they said they won't give me my money back because I used the product! So I went on their instagram page and warned people not to use it, interestingly enough, there are no negative comments. I saw some on there a while ago, they're gone. And now, the comments I made, warning people of how this product will destroy their hair, are GONE. AND they blocked me.I think they are paying people to post false positive reviews. You will not find one single negative comment on their instagram page. I want my money back and if I have to make their lives miserable, I'll do it. They should be sued for all the damage they have done, do not use any of their products!!! The only reason I'm giving them one star is because you aren't allowed to give them zero!

Great non-toxic, food-grade (edible!) product that works well for my dark brown, 15% gray hair to be restored to 100% brown. I’ve not tried traditional hair dyes, but I am a swimmer, with exposure to pool chemicals, so draw your own conclusions.
