About Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center
The IDESST Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center (formerly IDESST Sausalito Portuguese Hall) was established in Sausalito, California in 1888 as a focal point for Portuguese culture and traditions in Marin County. First and foremost is the Azorean tradition of the "Festa do Espírito Santo" (Festival of the Holy Ghost), which was brought to California by early immigrants from the Azores. As one of Marin’s oldest landmarks, the Sausalito Portuguese Cultural Center can also provide the right location for special rental events. It is one of the largest rental venues and best values available in Marin. The Center has over 5,000 sq. ft of premium space. A 2,800 sq. ft. Ballroom with beautiful hardwood floors and 2.300 sq. ft. dining room.

Nice facility that is much larger inside than it appears. It has a commercial kitchen and a bar as well two huge meeting rooms. Friendly folks too.

Great food at all the events I’ve been to! Experience Portuguese cultural heritage at events such as Festa.
