Clean and calm. Friendly staff. Nice little laundromat

Guy came and asked me to use a closed bag because he didn't like seeing my laundry and didn't want to touch it by accident. I said your picking up soiled linens wear gloves. He says he would take it as previous drivers never complained. He told me he didn't want to touch my expletive. I thought that was disrespectful. He left my clothes on the ground and took the rest in his truck... This business charges high but has zero class. Look at the photos to see what he was upset about

Originally, I really enjoyed meeting Wendy (the owner) and they did right by me on very short notice. They also took care of multiple items for me after that. Unfortunately, during last two experiences they irreversibly damaged multiple items: a large, brand new comforter and two sunbrella outdoor cushions. During the first incident, they stained the white Pottery Barn blanket with huge yellow stains. Could be that the dryer was way too warm and the second time they put washed wet cushions in plastic bags and sealed them. As a result the cushions ended up getting completely moldy and after Wendy’s service tried to fix cushions they turned into a lumpy mess.
After the first incident I let it go, I thought to myself accidents happen. This time I stopped by in person and asked for my items and to speak to the owner. The items were ruined and I got the same response as the first time: “it was like that before” …which was a blatant lie. The employee who damaged my items told me that owner was communicating and resolving my issue with me via email last week. I checked my email right in front of the employee and proved to her that this was not the case. I asked to be contacted in hopes of being able to resolve the issue.
Today I finally received an unprovoked, curt response via email. I was nice even though I got the runaround twice. I was only offered to be compensated for the last service, NOT FOR THE VALUE of the ruined items. The cost of items ruined is 600+ usd. I am considering filing a formal complaint.
Long term businesses are not usually built on low integrity. Wendy the way you behaved is absolutely unacceptable. Extremely disappointed.

I'd put a zero star review if it was possible. No clear information about pricing was provided to me. I ended up being overcharged (almost double!), really disappointed by the non-existing customer service.

Sunshine Laundry is CLEAN, FAST, and FRIENDLY.
This place is arguably the nicest laundromat this side of the the Golden Gate Bridge!
I'm talking spotless interior, friendly staff, and BRAND NEW MACHINES (most less than a year old), both coin-op and app (SpeedQueen, works with Apple Pay, super easy). They also offer wash & fold, and dry cleaning services - the complete package!
Recently under new management, owner Patrick is carrying the torch that previous owner Wendy (we miss you!) lit. It continues to be an obvious recommendation to anyone living in the area.

We loved their wash and fold pickup service! Our clothes were picked up and delivered on time and the quality of the work was top notch. Communication was prompt and very friendly and professional. We used the service when we were in the area on vacation and I will do it again anytime I return to Sausalito. Highly recommended.

The front loads have a good amount of water to agitate clothes and clean them. Unlike another laundromat in Sausalito. I wish this place was closer to where I live and away from the tourist traffic.
