0 starts. The sales associate was extremely rude and did not greet me or my boyfriend when we walked in. And yes, neither of us are white. The woman was following us around the tiny store, which made no sense because again, the store is small. We got dirty looks as I was trying on clothes and she even told my boyfriend he wasn't allowed to be in a certain area.Save your money. Shop somewhere else.

Day trip to Sausalito and parked near here and thought I'd check it out. Walked in was not greeted. Ok whatever. Started looking around. Saw a couple of cute things that I wanted to try on but the woman behind the counter couldn't be bothered. A another woman (who didn't look like me) came in and was immediately helped, found a few things and was offered to try on. I quickly realized I was not going to be held. There were a few items that I probably would've bought but this store will not get my money. I should've read the other reviews before going in and saved my time. Unfortunately this appears to b a pattern with this store.

My partner and I came in yesterday afternoon and we're not greeted or acknowledged the entire time we were in the store by the woman working behind the counter. She did however give us a dirty look as soon as we walked in. She was also was very helpful and warm to the other women shopping who looked more like her. There seems to be a common theme when shopping at this store based on my experience and Dom's review below. Coming from an AAPI, please do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere for consignment - this business will not make you feel welcome nor appreciated as a customer.

I love this little shop. Hollis, the owner has such great taste and keeps up with the current styles (not to mention the seasons!). I can always duck in and come out with an amazing piece. Last year I got one of my favorite dresses, an Etoile Isabel Marant, which I have worn so much. Another time I stopped in to drop off some clothes to consign and came out with a cozy cashmere hoodie and a pair of new (or almost new) Lululemon shorts. You can always find top designers, as well as clothes and accessories that are the latest or even cool and vintage. Hollis really curates a nice collection of items. If you are interested in consigning, you can ask her in advance about which types of items she is currently looking for (winter, fall, jeans, etc.). Willow Grove is such a fun place to wander into. You are also supporting a small, local, woman-owned business.

The store is clean and bright and Hollis's clothes are always in great condition. She sells interesting and cool brands. Much needed shop in Marin.

The saleswoman was rude from the beginning of my interaction with her. She told me wait outside I need to clean the doorway. This was a demand not nicely said. I waited then asked after she left the doorway if it was ok to come in. She said quickly yes. She ignored me and never said hello. She acted like I was an inconvenience being in her store. When another woman was there from the nearby salon she was all smiles and kindness. If you don't appear rich, they will be rude to you. It was extremely short sighted of her. Never will go back.

If you support black and brown community members please think twice about attending this shop. All previous reviews painted the picture of a cute consignment store that featured a nice selection and wonderful customer service. This was not my experience and I felt rather discriminated against. The other patron who visited at the same time as my partner and I was greeted with a hello and shown around the space. We were not afforded this once the worker was done. They went and sat at their stool, only looking towards us when we browsed the items near the door. Completely ignored, we decided to keep browsing as we found some items to try on. Once we had items in hand, things ramped up. She walked over acting to interact with clothes but continued to sneak looks at us (poorly might I add). When we moved over to the shoes near her stool, she still ignored us after we said hello and made a noise as if she were tired of us being there. We took note and decided to try on two jackets we had found. This lady had been at her stool, completely ignoring us and the first interaction with us she ask me to move to another part of the store so that she can work on a shelf closer to the dressing room. I wasn't blocking the space she hadn't interacted with prior, I was standing near the shoes, giving my opinion of the jacket on my partner, completely out of the way. Her comments for me to move took both of us by surprise. I asked "excuse me?" To clarify what she was saying and wondered what all the attitude was for. The look on her face screamed get out. I held myself back from saying more, gave a look to my partner and we left without purchasing the two coats which we were planning to buy. Never should you treat people different entering the store for how they look (we were dressed semi casual, which doesn't matter), never should your first interaction with them be to have an attitude, never should a shelf be more important than asking patrons if they need assistance. It was very clear from all of the micro aggressions that we were not wanted in the space. Having dealt with this before we initially moved to brush it off but something's are just too ridiculous not to comment on. My partner manages a consignment store here in the Bay Area, so we are very familiar when it comes to etiquette & familiarity with these spaces. Cannot believe how we were treated. We did nothing wrong. Hope the worker (hopefully not the owner) changes their tune but we will not be supporting this store front further.

Gorgeous place, looks like a high end boutique...with much better prices and no snotty atmosphere! Great mix of quality, well priced pieces.I saw a couple of beautiful outerwear alpaca sweaters, I think originally from a little store on Maiden Lane, plus a good selection of cashmere and cute jackets, shoes and belts.Welcoming, cozy ambiance that's a sorely needed presence in Sausalito to support recycling.. You can definitely score some finds here!

Stopping into Willow Grove Consignment during our Sausalito stroll I found they had some great pieces and wonderful prices. Their general age range felt about 20's+ and while it seems like they aren't seasonal (only buying for Summer/Fall, etc), I tend to buy if I like something, and not how quickly I'm going to wear it, so I fell in love with a couple of their beautiful fall sweaters and one of their adorable wooden purses. Unfortunately, with how hot it was outside, I just didn't fall in love enough to want to carry the items while we browsed downtown Sausalito. The service was super friendly and the space was easy to navigate. I would 100% come back if we were in the area!

This gem of a consignment store has a great selection of clothes, bags, shoes and jewelry, all in a beautiful space with plenty of parking. I have bought an consigned here. Highly recommend.
