Claudia from the deli called to check in the day before and followed up the morning of the event for pick up. Haley was also so helpful!! “I’ve been calling Scotts Valley a temporary home for several months now. I do (for better or worse) need to keep a few cans of craft beer or the occasional bottle of bourbon around for, um, medicinal purposes. 😏. They have what I think is about the best balance and variety of craft beer and quality liquors for any place I’ve visited in Santa Cruz county. I’ll never have the money or the post Covid tastebuds to purchase, much less fully appreciate the extremely, amazingly high end allocated bourbons they have available on the secondary market. I’ll just continue to enjoy staring at the bottles of Pappy Van Winkle while I buy some darn good IPA. Most of all (and this is by far the most important), the folks who work here (employees and owners) are actually pretty awesome! You know, the kind of folks you’d share a bottle of pappy van winkle with if you could cough up the change! Silliness aside, I dig this place and will continue to rely on them for my needs during my extended stay. Cheers!”
