You couldn’t ask for a better PD than SVPD. Thanks for keeping us safe!

These guys are the best! Besides having one of the toughest and most thankless jobs out there, a good majority of these brave officers came over to help us with a fundraiser ON THE LITTLE FREE TIME THEY GET! Not only did they do that, they brought their whole families and basically saved our event from going sideways...WE ARE SO GRATEFUL FOR SVPD!Remember if you got a ticket its cause you deserved it, so own up to your mistakes people and dont break the law! We all depend on these people when the going gets tough and we need protection...THANK YOU!!!

They have nothing better to do than randomly run plates. All while driving without a seatbelt. This female cop drove 5 blocks without. I saw her put it on while driving. Because of a DMV screw up they towed my car. I gave no reason whatsoever to run my plates. They must be so damn bored there they run plates hoping to get action. Then 3 officers show up. 3! Obviously they are bored. One officer was rude, threatened to arrest me for a registration mixup. Then they continue to harass me, ask the same questions over and over hoping to get a different answer. The SV PD are useless and rude. Horrible servants of the public!

Poorest quality of serve and protect. I did the job of the police dept on may 27th 2018. Myself and other residents stopped and detained a street racer and as scotts valley police are well aware that i was struck and injured by the vehicular assault and i told the officer who said she was taking my statement. (Which did not happen) i had waited around for this officer all night to call me. When no call and in need of medical attention pending the officers phone call. I went in person to see why the officer did not do her job? I still have no answers except knowing the info was never processed as officer aaron roberts informed me. Due to negligence on the officers part which in return is representing the scotts valley dept. I am very saddened by how i was mistreated and then the officers want to treat me like the bad guy cuz the dept cant handle their own neighborhood. Scotts valleys crime rate is so high due to the lack of competence and experience within the depts personal. I am filing a formal complaint as the dept let a obvious vehicluar assualt happen with officers in site and they let him drive away? Where is the "SERVE AND PROTECT"? DOES IT EXIST? i want justice to be served. And this needs to be known. I have reached out numerous times for the chief of scotts valley to call me and nothing. Good lord help the community if this is who is supposed to protect our kids and families and friends. So not right.

Some of the nicest officers I've ever interacted with serving a noise complaint. 10/10 would recommend
