Worse pharmacy ever. Corporate should shut Walgreens Scott's Valley down. My medication was supposed to be processed, doctor had approved prescription and sent it in. Pharmacist by the name of Clair was incredibly rude to me and insisted on a faxed treatment plan before she would fill the prescription. This was on a Friday when my doctor had gone home. So a triage doctor called Walgreens and told the pharmacist the medication was approved. Again pharmacy would not fill. I asked her to fill because I was out of the med and I would have my PCP fax anything to her Monday. Again a rude denial. She also pretended to take a break and ignored my questions, and went to chit chat with a drive up customer about non pharmacy related small talk. I too will be moving my scrips to another pharmacy as soon as possible.

Drive up window closes at 1:30-2:00. Arrive at 1:22. Closed. No worries. I’ll come back a little before 2:00 arrive 1:55. Window doesn’t open until 2:15. Then pharmacist disappears for ~ 5~7 minutes. Comes back and still takes another 5-7 minutes…Really. 1st in line and I waste 2 trips 2nd trip still takes 30 minutes to get a prescription that’s ready?? Waste of time. Now 8 cars in line. I’m feel sorry for them. No more. Mail order From now on. And not from Walgreens now 1/3 price delivered. Same medication. Crazy.

I am so grateful that this store is in walking distance from my condo.The staff is helpful, friendly and accepting in working with seniors. I know Walgreens gets a bad rap as a corporation, but the people here locally are working hard to provide personal service with good humor and understanding.

Worst pharmacy ever. Every single person in line had an issue with them. They don't have enough staff. When trying to get my Covid and flu vaccines they couldn't get it to go through my insurance. The pharmacist said our computer system is unreliable!! We waited over an hour and we had made an appointment and brought our filled out paperwork. Horrible

Absolutely the worst customer service. I have called repeatedly for information about the COVID-19 tests that were ordered. They keep saying their computer is down. But then when I have someone else call from their phone about their prescription, everything is just fine. They will lie and say the computer is down just to avoid being on the phone serving customers.

A supposed manager told me to go to the end of the line because my prescription wasn't ready at 4. It was supposed to be ready at 10 AM so I gave them all day. She told me to behave myself and I was livid. She will be reported, not at the store but at corporate. Who talks to customers that way? She's an old woman with long ratty hair so it's not generational

Stay far far away from this pharmacy. Called at 10am about my prescription and the actual pharmacist said it's ready. 11:20am come to pick it up and pharmacy tech says it's not ready for another 20 minutes. Came back at 12:45pm and it's still not ready. This department is incompetent, the only reason I came here was for the drive thru while having COVID. Won't ever come back.

They fill prescriptions but it takes FOREVER in line. Not recommended. Guy in front of me at the window with an appointment is still waiting to get his booster 25 minutes later...

Trying to pick up a prescription was frustrating. Only one clerk trying to service line in store and auto's waiting in line at the window. I finally had to leave and return later. As I left I noticed other employees in the store basically not doing anything. Bad management!

I am so grateful to have spoken to Maria in the Scotts Valley Pharmacy department! I was having a difficult time trying to get information on a medication that was ordered for me at the Soquel location. They said it was delayed because it was backordered and didn't know when they will have it in stock. Also, numerous times they told me they didn't know if it was covered by my insurance. I asked if they could check other locations to see if it's in stock. they said no. I say THEY because I had spoken to a number of people at the Soquel location and so did my doctors office. So I called the Scotts Valley location and unfortunately my medication was not in stock at that location as well. Maria was so great! She helped me locate another pharmacy that had it in stock and put through the prescription at that location. She also checked my insurance and was able to find out the my insurance does cover it!! Maria was so helpful, knowledgeable and patient. I wish she would train the other technicians at the Soquel location. Thanks Maria for all your help!
