I have raised this rating from four stars to five based largely on the excellence of the new team, and the fantastic job they did yesterday in matching up the old paint in my house with a new gallon of fresh. It is an absolutely perfect match, and you can't tell even at close range, what was done five years ago, and what was done today. Thanks!

It’s a bit frustrating when the price in the aisle is 2x more at the register. They should honor the prices on display or how can you trust shopping in this store. Saw something for $5 and it rings up for $12. Ended up buying on Amazon

My mom and I stopped by here on a whim to look at their tabletop grills and a couple other things. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and helped us find which one would best suit our needs. Very reasonable prices considering the location!

I tried to return a staple gun that was not working. The salesperson ( he said his name was Paul) got all angry and said I ruined the package. He stated how was he suppose to sell it with the package in pieces. I asked why would you sell something to someone else that is defective? Very rude and mean. Obviously, should not be working with people. Never going there again.

So let me tell y'all about this place....
THEY ARE AMAAAZING. Everyone is not only friendly, they're very knowledgeable on just about everything you need if not more. I started going to them in 2022 ish, when we just moved to town, and since they were just down the street and I didn't want to go to a big hardware store in another city. I went with an idea of what I needed to do what I wanted, not only did they greet me once I walked in, they asked me what I needed and pointed me in the right direction, even guided me to the aisle & pointed at where the item was. When I was looking, they asked me what it was that I was trying to do, which I told them, and not only did they show me better tools, but even explained how to do it when I got home! I don't work with tools much and have no idea what I'm doing half the time, don't worry I'm never building anything serious, just dumb things around the house.
I've been going back ever since from big needs to small needs, it's always so good to see their smiling faces and my dogs love going to the hardware store because they know they get a treat as soon as they walk in the door.
Sorry for this long post, but they honestly deserve it because they are absolutely amazing.

I recently discovered Bay Hardware, a family-owned hardware store that has been open for 55 years, located on the beautiful strip of downtown Seal Beach. Even though I didn't have much time to explore the store, I stopped by to get some key copies at the front desk. The service was very fast, and the workers were all helpful. We were hesitant to bring my dog inside the store as I wasn't sure if it was dog-friendly. However, the employee working said it was fine to let the dog down, and they were, in fact, dog-friendly. Overall, I had a great experience at Bay Hardware and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area in need of some house supplies.

Manny is really super. I have little issues with home improvement and I can always depend on our neighborhood hardware store. I don't know how he does it, but it's a real comfort to know that I can have a convenient and friendly hardware store nearby.

Came in looking for about 10 items. Couldn't find any of them but then a woman I believe named Terry help me she found everything that I was looking for and even rang me up. Best experience ever in a small hardware store
