On Saturday, January 6, 2024, I went to your retail store in Studio City on Ventura Boulevard and was meant with unprofessional conduct by Judy Richards. She is one of your employees who was rude and condescending and refused to give me the number to corporate. I was gifted a pair of pants and wanted to simply exchange them. They told me that because I do not have the original customers account information. There was nothing that could be done. Pants had original tags and came in the original gift box, Miss Judy wouldn't even scan the pair of pants. I called your customer service line to make a complaint -the lady answering the line was not able to assist me. She said, without the customers account number there was nothing I could do. when I asked to speak to a supervisor I was left on hold for over 20 minutes, over 20 minutes!!! I don't understand how the company is able to operate this way. How is it that you can't even scan a piece of merchandise to see what it can be exchanged for without a gift receipt!?! I demand an explanation and an apology from your employee who was rude and condescending. Perhaps it's because she was Anglo and I am a Latina!!! And yes, all workers in this store are Anglo!

I thought that you were actually replying to get feedback on my situation but this is just an autoresponder. I called and the representative had no protocols on how to make this right or to assure me that this was not how you guys are going to be operating from now on. I guess I'll just buy online and return stuff to the store if I don't like it because the service I used to get in person is not going to be there anymore.

The associates here are unfriendly & seem more interested in talking to each other than customers. This is my closest Chicos, but I shop at another one because I hate going here. I don't usually leave reviews, but after my fourth time shopping here & having the same experience I decided to leave a review.

Associates are very rude, they don't want to check the inventory... online shows available in the store but they say not available without even checking.

Too expensive for the quality. I bought a pair of earrings for $40. They fall right out and won't stay in. I called. Yo return and they don't exchange. I will shop Amazon'. They give a number to call but no help

The best Chico's to shop at!!! They've got the greatest selection of clothes and jewelry! And the two associates I love to deal with is Illiana and Latrice!!!

The customer service here is just trash!!! Literally! Like why the attitude! Especially because there more of older people working there like come one it's for them to be mature! Basically I went in for an exchange and long story short one old lady working there attended me and was giving me all the attitude and she was like we don't have the shirt here, I can order it for you (keep in mind I said exchange in the beginning) I gave her my info and she tells me I ordered it for you, and I said I wanted to pick it up somewhere else where they had it and so then this lady told me she would have someone else help me because she got upset & in my head I was like yes please like I don't want to deal with you anymore. And so someone else comes long story short they found the shirt I was looking for to exchange at that same store. & I was just disgusted with this store never coming back !

It doesn’t matter how nice a store or it’s merchandise is if the customer service is poor. I have been in this particular Chico’s many times and the sales associates are never friendly or helpful. I had to chase them down to get help. I was in the store for an hour helping my mom and they didn’t ask us if we needed help one time. I need to stick with the Huntington Beach Chico’s for awesome customer service.

Nothing wrong with Chico’s clothing or accessories. Not sure if they’re trying to encourage online shopping but the store has VERY limited inventory. Staff could care less that you’re in the store.

I have always had great customer service at Chico's. Something has happened in the Seal Beach store. The last few times I've been in the store, I was hardly greeted, let alone asked if I needed any help. The employees were always so helpful in the past and that is what made Chico's a cut above. To make things worse, one of the employees was buying something at the counter and I was told I would have to wait. There was no one else in the store. She could have purchased her item later. What happened to your customer service? If I shop at Chico's again, it will not be in the Seal Beach store and unfortunately that is my home town.

2 weeks ago, Jan 2021. Nice store.. 1 of 3 I go to, depending on direction.Good sale prices, on some end of season sales. Good Quality Products, I've never been disappointed in quality.. (except once I had the dryer set too hot, my fault) Sales personnel always likeable. Nice dressing rooms, and they put your possible choices in one, while you finish picking your things to try on. Their Sizing System is Different, and can be confusing, till you know what fits you. Then pretty darn consistent.

I like shopping here for my mom and mother in law. I usually get decent customer service. Yesterday I went by because I needed to buy 2 gifts for my sisters. I could had driven to the mall but I didn't have a lot of time. When I walked in a wasn't greeted but really didn't care. I walked around for about 15 minutes and the 2 ladies there looked at me but didn't say anything to me. They were so focused on working on their displays. Customers that were ready to pay had to get there attention. I had received a text with a discount but wasn't able to use it because the lady said it was only for one day. The text messages usually say for today only but this message didn't. Maybe work on customer service more than displays.
