Management allows grouchy negative customers to harass and bully the staff. If I were the manager I would ask these Debbie Downers (some are men) to leave the store and not return. This store gets enough business for Leisure World and the surrounding communities that their staff should not have to endure idiots who ruin their day and annoy other customers.

I was in the Dollar Tree in Seal Beach on March 14 around 8:30 and unloaded my cart of many items. There was 1 person in front of me with maybe 4 items, that person forgot her wallet and went outside to get it, I thought it would be just a minute, well that minute turned into many and having lots of items I said to the cashier I don't think they are coming back can you suspend the transaction and check me out? That cashier named Elma walked away and proceeded to stock shelves. I turned to the other cashier and said my cashier just walked away and left me with all this stuff. Then I reloaded my cart and went to the other cashier saying that it was rude the cashier that was here just walked away and didn't say anything to me and that cashier said to me "That's Life." I spent $83.00 on my purchase, I wanted to just leave the items in the cart and just walk out because of the treatment I got from Elma but I needed those items. I will never go into that Dollar Tree ever again and will most certainly tell my readers of my newspaper to do the same!

Went to the Dollar Tree in Seal Beach today, because it is close to my house. The cashier was very nice, when she rang up my purchase some items were $5 so I asked her to remove them, it was two items, I did not realize the prices had changed. She was kind enough to start doing it, them another worker can up behind her and said “ No, we get in trouble for voiding items, YOU Should have looked at the price before you came up here. She was yelling at me and had her finger in my face. My daughter who was going to make a purchase too put her things down and said oh no, I kindly told the cashier, no thank you, I don't want any of these things, as I turned to leave the worker who had come up behind the cashier yelled, yeah you’re better off leaving. I'm not sure why this person is working there but I hope they fire her soon!!!

I mainly go here to get gift bags tissue paper and cards. Candy such as Hersheys Reese's Peanut Butter Cups are a great price if you eat candy. Most times it's fairly clean. It's hard to say about checking out. Sometimes I get right through. Other times I've waited in a long line. So good luck!!

I love the variety of products that you can purchase for $1.25 !! My only complaint is you can't take a cart out side with your items !!!! Sometimes it's hard for elderly to carry everything out to the parking lot !

My favourite shop. It has everything I need and like. Well organised. Clean. Every item has a price tag. Prices are lower than in 99 Cents. Nice staff.

Unfortunately my 1st visit to Dollar Tree in the state of California was very unimpressive. New to the state, Went to grab some items for my niece's birthday. They didn't have any "1" balloons. I checked on the shelves and went up the cashier to ask of they had any others on the back. I was given the impression that I was bothering her because she was having a full blown personal conversation on FaceTime on her phone (on speaker). The phone was set up at the end of the conveyor belt. The cashier asked if I had checked the shelves. I indicated I had which is why I was asking. The reply (between her conversation about Taco Tuesday on facetime) was that they didn't have any other inventory. I asked if she knew where another Doller Tree was. And she said No. Thankfully a couple of other ladies working well as a customer who were gracious enough to give me some guidance being new to the state. I found a fantastic location in Cypress where the cashiers were focused on customer service and not personal FaceTime calls. I really hope this will be an opportunity for growth in this scenario. Thank you.

Visiting Dollar Tree is always a bit like a treasure hunt - you never know exactly what you're going to find. On this particular occasion, I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of my shopping experience, deserving of a five-star review. The store was extremely well stocked and staffed, a commendable achievement considering that it often grapples with understaffing issues. The assortment of products available and the sufficient personnel on duty made the shopping experience very smooth. It was a rare but welcome sight to see three checkouts open. This ensured a steady flow of customers with minimal waiting time. The efficient management of the checkout lanes significantly improved the overall shopping experience.I would like to give a special mention to Rhonda, who was managing one of the checkouts. She was extremely friendly and proficient, making the checkout process quick and pleasant. In conclusion, my recent trip to Dollar Tree was a fantastic experience. The store's well-stocked shelves, sufficient staffing, efficient checkout process, and courteous staff members, especially Rhonda, contributed to a highly satisfying shopping experience. I can confidently award this visit to Dollar Tree a full five-star rating.
