We are a family with a daughter facing severe learning delays, and our journey to find the right educational support has been challenging. With an extensive Individualized Education Program (IEP) and the decision to pull her from public school for a more accommodating learning environment homeschooling. We approached Mathnasium of Seal Beach with cautious optimism, given our past experiences.
Having previously invested two years in intense tutoring with Sylvan, we were hesitant to embark on another tutoring journey. Mathnasium of Seal Beach is a fantastic place! Not only is the owner Michael kind and understanding, they always seem to to get us in even with our crazy schedule. The tutors there have helped my daughter go from a D in her geometry to an A. Their prices are reasonable, and the instructors are great. Highly recommend!

My child who fights with me everyday over homework reminds me when its her appointment time so she's not late. She has been going for a month and she is very happy. As a mom I appreciate that as well as the progress reports and care the tutors seems to have for the kids. * My daughter started during the pandemic and they are very good at precautions and protecting the kids, including needing an appointment to go into the center to ensure they do not have too many kids. You can book online and I have never had an issue booking the times I wanted.

With constant multitasking and adapting to various learning platforms virtually, I am so pleased to have found an in-person center, engaged with my child one on one, while assessing the individual learning gaps and addressing them to close the learning gap between the school curriculum and THE Mathnasium curriculum. I love how this program is using a 360 approach in communicating between the parents, the child and among the school teachers to fully bring out the fullest potential in my child.

My son enjoys going to Mathnasium and I have definitely noticed an improvement in his math skills. He completes his work faster and is more confident. Also, everyone in Mathnasium is very knowledgeable and professional.

I opted to homeschool my 5th grader this fall and Mathnasium has provided quality, supplemental instruction. The bi-weekly sessions give me peace of mind that she's working at her full potential - plus she loves it!

We LOVE Mathnasium! My daughter has had a math tutor for over 6 years and while they were helpful with her homework and studying for tests, they didn't teach her the way Mathnasium does. She is learning to think about math in a different way and really understanding the concept so she can solve problems. She is always excited to go and always smiling when she gets back in the car. We have already seen her confidence in math improve and just a few short weeks.

My 6th and 8th graders started Mathnasium a month ago and we love it! We elected to do virtual due to Covid. The platform they use works great! Their instructors are very knowledgeable! Highly recommend Mathnasium and the virtual platform.

I am so happy with how the Mathnasium staff is handling virtual lessons. They are so patient when my daughter unfocused and give her fun games that help her concentrate. I cannot wait to continue her Mathnasium journey when this is all over. Thank you!
