I took my dog to this location because the one by my house was booked, I didn’t think k we would have an bad experience since everyone who works there has been great. But when I went to go drop off my dog the groomer seemed uninterested in my request I just wanted a trim on my dogs face but they completely cut his hair down on his face.

I go to PetSmarts and Petcos all over Southern California every so often to buy food for my dog. Each time I'm amazed at how similar and average every single one of these stores are: not great, not bad, just whatever. Until I went to this PetSmart which was the nicest pet store I've ever seen. Why? How?

Kelly the (Manager) was extremely rude, unprofessional and unhelpful! Customer NO service. She ignored me and walked away. She would not address my questions and only pointed to the return policy on the wall. I purchased several PetSafe NaNoBark collars at the Seal Beach location and one stopped working after less than 4 months. Manager's have the choice at their discretion to replace items that are more than 60 days old. It's too bad because I usually enjoy going to PetsMart. Kelly needs to be trained in CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This is a first time experience. We took our dog Ruby to get her hair trimmed this is the before and after pictures. It appears as though maybe Angela the groomer may have used the wrong number on the clippers I’m not absolutely positive but my dog came home with a big chunk of hair missing from the top of her head. My husband picked her up so he really didn’t pay too much attention he said that her hair was pushed up on top so he didn’t really notice maybe she tried to cover it up by combing Ruby’s hair upward on top. I called the next day to complain and I was told that Angela said she didn’t take any hair off the top of my dogs head. I would’ve been OK with her calling me and saying she made a mistake or even when I called I would’ve been OK if she admitted that she made a mistake and asked what can we do to fix it but she literally said she didn’t cut the hair off the top of Rubys head clearly a lie and that says a lot about her character. They did ask me to come in to evaluate what could be done but I’m sure it will only make it worse. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

this petsmart is in a beautiful location, the shops at rossmoor! you are greeted upon entrance with a wonderful scent of pet products and it really transports you back to childhood. the selection of fish was fantastic but we wish there were more cats. hopefully this means that most of them were adopted and found their forever homes

I don't recommend the puppy training. It s a waste of money. The instructor, Shannon was not good. When I went to my other classes, the instructor taught me the correct way to walk the dog, how to hold the leash, I learned to step on the leash so the dog cannot move much. But this instructor very rude to me, and said my puppy did not make any progress, kept telling me to pay extra for private lesson, then she would work on my puppy's jumping problem. Then she said the first class she already talked about it. I remember she kept telling my puppy, "don't jump", but did nothing. Then we walked around the store and practice, "sit", I was kind of pushing my puppy's head then she made me like a dog abuser, and accused that I hit my puppy's head, she would remove me if I do this again. How many puppy training class at 7:30 pm? The puppy was already very tired at that time. It was her bedtime. How can she make progress? Her training is putting too much reward by giving excessive treats, which was unlike the classes I took before. I feel the whole time she was yelling at me.

I took my Dog to Aden in Grooming and she cut open a small hotspot he had. It cost me 500 dollars at the vet due to an infection. I want to give this location another try however she cancelled and didn't tell me why. I rescheduled and they called me the day of appointment and said she did not want to groom my Goldendoodle. Terrible customer service I would never recommend this place unless you want your dog injured.

I've been disappointed by this store so many times and wonder why I go back. Now I know I won't be doing that. I needed to purchase some RX dog food and didn't see it on the shelf. I couldn't find a sales associate anywhere so I walked back to the cashier area where there was one person working. I waited for a break in his work, and asked if I could get some help back at the RX section. He asked if I had a card. What card? Apparently I needed one from the vets office there. I told him there was no one back there. He told me to go back and ring the bell. So I went back to the vets counter, and there was no bell. I knocked on the counter three or four times getting a little louder every time and finally someone came out. I told her that I needed some help with some prescription dog food but I didn't see it on the shelf. She said that she could not help me with that and that I needed to find a sales associate. I told her I went to the front and that the gentleman up there directed me to this counter. She repeated that she could not help me, and that I needed to come back once I had the dog food, but there was no point in her, giving me a card until we found out if they carry the food that I wanted. so now being annoyed, I went back to the front of the store, and this time I did not wait until there was a break in the work, and I asked the guy to please help me with this prescription food. He picked up the phone and called somebody in the office, who came out, and they proceeded to have a whispering conversation back and forth, which I could hear him telling her "I told her to go get a card". At that point, I said I can hear you, and I went back there and she directed me back here. Finally, the customer service person walked back with me and told me she was sure she had the food in the back. Why there was none on the floor I don't know. She found the food gave it to me. I went back to the vets counter, had to knock numerous times before the person came out, and then waited while she issued me a card. There was another customer waiting for her, but she took her time and he also became impatient. And then I went and checked out. What a nightmare experience.

One star because fish are neglected !My husband bought me a tetra fish from another PetSmart 4 days ago and it had ICK PARASITES. I noticed a few white spots but didn’t think much. 3 days in and my fish is covered in these parasites. I’m so upset because I have 15 other healthy fish that will most likely get this disease if I don’t take care of it quick.I came to this store to buy the super ick cure and decided to walk over to the fish tanks to buy some guppies. As I looked Into the aquariums i noticed many fish had an outbreak of parasites & rot.I approached an employee and told her about the condition of the fish and she said she would remove them.Not sure if these fish get thrown out or they just get separated and treated (which I doubt) because she was putting them in a weird container.I spotted about 10 different aquariums with this parasitic disease. When I was at the register I asked the cashier if the fishies had warranty and she said “yes 14 days with receipt.” I then proceeded to tell her about the parasites and she said many people have been coming in complaining about the same issue.Which means they know about it and they neglect the fish. It’s so sad.Will be calling the PetSmart corp and reporting this. Unacceptable! Life of these poor animals matters.By the way I lifted the lids on the fish tanks and the pipes are visible in the back, they are covered in mold and algae. Also some spider webs.Please educate yourself in fish diseases so the same thing doesn’t happen to you. I’m here spending extra money on fish medicine.
