No one wears masks, not the stylists or most clients. There is no type of disinfecting of stations or waiting chairs of any kind and I've witnessed this both times I visited, even after LA County mandated masks indoors (July 17) and although I wore a KN95 the last time I was there (July 21, 2021) I had to tell my stylists Dustin to wear a mask and asked if he was vaccinated- he said he was healthy because he had covid before it was cool (his words). He's not vaccinated and doesn't plan to be. Irma, the owner, is the only one who is. This business does not take the pandemic seriously or your safety.

It was my first time at this Salon but I am regular clients of one of there new employee, Dustin, and I have to say, it's always a pleasure. I've always had trouble trusting anyone with my curly locks and Dustin has helped me understand and appreciate my hair so much. I recommend anyone with curly hair to go see him. Walking into the salon I receive this warm and welcoming feeling, which is hard to find.

First time at this salon. Very pleasant atmosphere, especially considering the difficult times we are all facing with the current pandemic. An extremely clean and beautifully designed salon. I was greeted warmly upon my entrance and by the end of the service, felt like I was part of the "Meritage" family. Carla colored and cut my hair, the color based on her recommendation, and both turned out amazing. Irma, the owner, is very nice and you can tell by her attention to the customers, she is committed to ensuring they are well taken care of and safe! I would highly recommend this salon.

CARLA BENNER: This woman spit on two young females which is considered assault .. for no reason other than to be malicious.. i would not come here ! She should be fired ! I would not go to a salon knowing these types of people work there !
