This is a CRV (California Redemption Value) recycling center. The mission of these centers is in part to collect recycling that can get a new life span by being reused in the market. When you buy a product at a store like a bottle of wine or a case of soda you are charged with a CRV tax. If you take these recyclables to places like Adas you are given back that added tax on the original sale. If you did not buy the recycling and you exchange the CRV you can make a little money. My advice is to focus on aluminum as it has the highest value per pound. Crush your cans too! I have personally never felt like I have been scammed or cheated at Adas. The staff is always friendly and I enjoy giving them a small tip in appreciation of their hard work. In a perfect world we would have more of these centers and value our materials that have already outlived their purpose.

I like that it is close to my house, they pay in general this is coming, the only thing that worries me is that they bring a little girl and the recycling brings a lot of bacteria and more of the cans that the bagabundos bring, it would be better to leave her taking care of her far away of recycling.

The truth is that this family works there. They are scammers. They don't bother you. What a burden they are to keep part of your money. There are so many people who dedicate themselves to that. To survive and it's not fair that people like this only end up stealing from you. What alas it costs you. Honestly, don't go to this place. They are thieves.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR BUSINESS HERE!!!!!
This man will rip you OFF!!! I took my recycling to this company over the weekend, I had about four full bags of cans and water bottles. He gave me $25. After discussing that our math didn't quite come out to the same number, I asked for the phone number of the district office to complain. He wouldn't give it to me. He underpaid me about $35.00. I was very unhappy and upset because I observed him paying a young man in front of me who had 2 bags $40 plus dollars. This place needs to be shut DOWN!!!!! Can someone provide an 800 number for the corporate recycling number?
Adas Recycling should be audited

It's quite a "highlight" - you sort all the cans into different bins, hand them over, weigh them and then you get money.

Well, it's true... they will absolutely try to cheat you! They tried to cheat me, but I weighed my aluminum before I went (at the advice of other reviewers) and checked the swindler: 58lbs of aluminum not 54lbs that the jerk claimed. He caved immediately and handed over my ten bucks because he was guilty as hell. They lose only two stars because the place is convenient, pays in instant cash and is relatively convenient. Plus the workers are quite nice and smile while they try to steal from you!Caveat emptor!

This guy will rip you off if given the chance. Don't trust him. Add your own weights up to double check him!

My first time back to a recycling local. The lady who helped me was very helpful and nice. They opened up right on time ⏲️. I'll be back. I'm not sure if I'm getting market prices, but I'm doing it for the planet not the money!!

Just thieves. I got 65% of my money. I've weighted the recycled at home and knew exactly the weight. That employee is an expert in stealing. If I will go next time to that place I will call the police on them.

I have used this facility for eight months, they seemed great. I don't know if they "changed hands," but they certainly have changed...today was strange, an entire car full of cans paid what 2 -3 bags had before?? $10?? I was alone in that parking lot, afraid to argue. And the guy definitely has no respect for personal perimeters. He brushed up against me (too lightly to be termed " molesting") far too many times. Thief.

Simple enough. Just make sure you separate everything; cans, glass (also needs to separate by color), and plastic. You get paid in cash. It's just a dirt lot, so parking isn't super strict. It was quick.
