I had already called another company, but they didn't respond fast enough. I have had plenty of moving services, military life, but I have never had such a great experience! Not only did Marcus reply quickly to my request for services, and during a holiday time period when I'm sure people are booked and busy, he quoted a realistic price, informed me about things such as stairs/elevator access that could affect pricing, and he arrived perfectly on time. This service is timely, professional, reasonably priced- and honestly life savers! I would give ten stars if I could. The service was so excellent I made sure to tip! If you need moving services, A New Beginning is a reliable way to go!”

“I recently had to move my nonprofit’s headquarters and I got quotes from a few moving companies.MOD Movers was not necessarily the cheapest, but when moving furniture and all the things you need to keep your business running, and when you want the move to be smooth, “cheap” is not always the most important thing. Marlene, the owner, responded to my inquiry very quickly and didn’t laugh at the fact that I had started the inquiry process late and needed to do my move quickly. She explained their services thoroughly and I felt confident they would really take care of us.

We were not disappointed! Jesse, our move manager, helped coordinate things the days leading up to our move and communicated really well with me so I knew what to expect. On our move day, Josh and his team of three movers were phenomenal! They were friendly, polite, efficient, and very careful with everything. Arriving at our new building, where we had brand new floors installed, they were very careful and used wheels to take furniture around and did not drag any furniture. They reassembled everything we wanted, and Josh did a final walk-through with me to make sure everything was in the right rooms and where we wanted it. They cleaned up and took the trash with them, and when it came time to pay the final bill, Jesse explained the final charges and I received my invoice quickly. We had a great experience with MOD Movers!”

Superb customer service and the movers were great. I hired them to move from a 2 bedroom home in Carmel by the Sea to a 3 bedroom two story home in Pacific Grove.

I was especially impressed by how the movers gingerly transferred all our moving boxes with great care. All my belongings were carefully handled, including my furniture and big items which included a Peloton Bike. As some may know, Pelotons are HEAVY but we were able to move the item without covering or removing the screen! When transferring the Peloton to our Pacific Grove, the movers were able to carry up the bike up the flight up the stairs with no hassle!

Also, more fragile items like our television and terracotta planters were moved without hassle.

This is my third time using a professional mover and they were by far the BEST!

If you bargain hunt for a mover, you will likely get non-professionals who really do not care about your stuff and will do the job as quickly as possible, but you are at risk for sloppy handling. Wiley Transfer was a the perfect combination of price and service. I will definitely use them again for future moves!”

“My experience with this company is about a good as you could hope for. We moved from Virginia to Carmel with 2 Pods. Come to find out Pods weren’t aloud or capable of coming into where we have a condo. Contact J&M they contacted Pod in Castroville made all the arrangement to transfer out stuff to their truck and delivered to our Condo, they were quick and efficient and even charge much less then their estimate they gave me. Great people, friendly and reliable and honest.”
