An amazing place that inspires, and supports the creation of art. Loved visiting it and meeting the owner, and artists who are building a close artist community.

A very welcoming location. We used the space for co-working and it worked really well for a small team (2 of us). Fast wifi, good lighting, comfortable, great coffee, etc. OGS has lots to offer all the artists too and everyone taking classes seemed to have a good time. The other members were very friendly and really care about the space.

OGS is a such a welcoming place for anyone interested in creating art and meeting new people. During a time when places that foster a sense of community are few and far between, I'm very grateful to have OGS in town. There's something for everyone here!

Open Ground Studios is a place where you can explore your artistic self. I just took a workshop this last weekend and came away with a beautiful sketchbook. Two days learning about midieval bookbinding and actually putting together a beautiful book made with wood covers, leather binding and decorated with metal, just like in the Renaissance! There are a number of art classes one can take. You can work on your own in the studio, Painting, printmaking, bookmaking are emphasized, but it is a space for creating art. There is a Gallery for inspiration and some art supplies as well as some handmade gift items available if you wish. Just type in Open Ground Studios for the website which will let you know what classes are available, what hours the gallery is open and when you can just come in to work on an art project.

It's wonderful to have a large space to work in. The community of artists involved is pretty incredible, not just in the knowledge of their medium, but also how easy it is to get along with everyone. I really love this space! So glad we finally have something like this in the area.
