Working at McDonald's wasn't so bad until it was time to cash my checks, I mentioned McDonald's because unfortunately this is the bank they're with. This bank charges $6 to cash each check. No thank you....

Moved away and am trying to close my account since they don't have any branches in my new state.I called, that said they'd close my account. I've been checking my app for it to go thru. Just got an account update email, thought for sure it was letting me know the account was closed. NOPE!I'm overdrawn.I asked them to do ONE THING.Never again.

Great Bank - wonderful staff - very helpful. We have a new business account with them and they don't allow online banking. We may have to change banks. Online banking is a deal breaker for us.

Used to be open on Saturdays but not since name changed which is very inconvenient for people who get paid on fridays like myself. Online hours and location hours are always different. No automated operator when you call just rings. Only good thing about them are some of the people at my location are very helpful, THAT IS IT.

Tried closing my account over the phone since I moved, 1st teller told me to transfer money thru my new bank or an app, and they would stop daily charges til the transfer cleared. Transfer cleared, still accruing charges.2nd teller tells me to have someone come in and deposit the original amount in cash, and they will reverse the new charges I followed the direction given, and the charges weren't stopped, and now I'm talking to the brand manager who "has asked everyone that worked when I called" and "no one is saying anything". I asked if they could produce a recording or transcript of the conversations I had and was informed "they don't do that here"Branch manager doesn't seem to care that I was already following customer service and teller direction. The branch manager is unprofessional, beyond rude, unhelpful, dishonest, and indicative of Mechanics treatment of their customers.

Now known as Mechanics Bank is a rip off!!! I've had a senior account with Rabobank for over 10 years and didn't have to pay for a cashiers check. Now that Mechanics Bank has taken over I have to pay $ 10.00 regardless of amount. As soon as I can I'm going to another bank.

Being a Hotel Concierge, I pay attention to detail and little things mean a lot. I called the toll free number to ask a few questions regarding my daily withdrawal limit due to some account transactions I needed to process, and Stanley was very patient with me and made sure that everything was handled. He didn't rush me off the phone or make me feel like an idiot when I asked stupid questions. With the recent merge with Mechanics, I was on the fence about keeping my account, but with Stanley and all of the other phone reps I've spoken to as well as the staff in my local branch, I feel at home and will be keeping my account active.

My father who recently passed away banked with Rabobank (now Mechanics Bank). As the estate executor, the bank has made it extremely difficult for me to close out his account although I have all of the necessary documentation. They're stipulating I have to appear in person which is inconvenient because I don't live near one of their branches and they're closed on week-ends. In closing my father's other financial accounts, I've been able to close these accounts via mail or the internet. Whereas Rabobank/Mechanics Bank is making what's an unpleasant task even more unpleasant and burdensome.

When you make a deposit and then for reasons unknown they kick it back with no explanation pretty hard to trust when they say oh don't worry we'll take care of it with overdraft charges again no explanation of why, numerous phone calls and false promises. Not sure if I'll keep my accounts with this bank.

This is the second time I've been treated poorly at this branch. Monterey & Gilroy branches are so friendly. I go out of my way to avoid this one but today I had to make a deposit before work. The teller tossed my drivers license back to me - out of my reach even. Very cold service.

The tellers at this Rabobank are very friendly!!! Our construction company has been with this bank for over 6 years.
