If you're looking for some decent Mexican food for a decent price, this is a decent option. It's definitely not the best Mexican place around, but it's also far from the worst. Same goes for price: affordable but not dirt cheap. The food here isn't anything to write home about; that is, the meat isn't the greatest quality and the portion sizes are a little small. However, the flavor is good. The beans are hit or miss since they sometimes come out a little cold. Also, if it gets busy (not very common), it's a good idea to know how to speak a little Spanish. The servers are pretty nice but they sometimes seem like they're rushing the customer a little. Atmosphere is great; no complaints here.I order a different thing every time I come here (four times so far) since none of the individual items I've tried have stood out to me as amazing. Coming from San Diego, I know what to look for when ordering top-notch Mexican. This place hasn't hit that mark yet for me.Parking: This place doesn't have a good selection of parking. I recommend parking on the street to the right of it.

This place place has in/outdoor seating, it's quaint, and has good food and service. It is my go to place for breakfast burritos in Seaside.

This place serves excellent food, simple, fresh, tasty and extremely flavoursome. I cannot speak too highly of the place. We had the nachos, chicken fajitas and shrimp tacos all served with rice and beans. The food was excellent. We were the only ones in there as it was nearly closing, however, the service was efficient and very friendly. Excellent simple food in a friendly environment.

We finally found what we would term as "the best taco on this side of the Monterey Bay". Not only was the food delicious, but the staff was super friendly and kind. The owner Estefan, cared enough to visit us at our table to see how things were. And, our server, Stephanie was super friendly and extremely helpful. It was so nice to get excellent service right along with scrumptious food at a reasonable price. Before writing this review I made sure to visit this little restaurant twice and both times I enjoyed the same great service and delicious food. This will now be a "go to" restaurant for us. Just so you know, we had shrimp tacos, fish tacos, a vegetarian enchilada, a chili relleno, rice and beans. It is so rewarding to spend our hard-earned cash at a restaurant that truly deserves it. Thank you, California Grill.

Had the carnitas torta. Was prepared just the way I like. Look forward to trying asada and pastor. Wife had chicken burrito and liked it.

Each and every time the service And the delish food is top notch! We have been here for only two months. Enjoying all meals in local restaurants, this place is now one of our favorites! Thank you for always making our experience an enjoyable one! We enjoyed all meals, at various occasions. The chef is also on point w his recipes and can surprise you w his creative desserts!

Wanted to support small business owner and decided to chance eating here. Front and outside looks small. There is a big outside area to the side of the restaurant and is dog friendly. We had a dish of trio of tacos, rice and beans. Second dish was the dish of huge prawns, rice and steamed veggies. Both were delicious and plentiful. Be aware they do charge a very small amount if you use your credit card. They also have a sign advising the fee posted on the front door. Overall, delicious food in a small family owned restaurant.

Discussed with this place. Should have known not to eat here when the place was empty and Panda Express containers on the table from the employees. We Ordered a 2 and 3 meat fajita meal total of 3 shrimp in the 2 orders and we can't identify the other meat because it's minced up garbage.
