Following Google reviews here. My previous shop changed owner. Just did a 50k checkup for 150$. Super fast. The guy is very nice and gave me all the information afterwards. Will send my wife's car there another day. Thumbs up!

EXCELLENT SERVICE! Evan and the autotech, l Ithink his name was Will worked together to get my repair done right. I was waiting while the work was done in there comfortable WiFi waiting room and they even shared some hot fresh pizza from their lunch order. This is my second repair done with them and I wouldn't hesitate to reccomend The Masters. 40 years in business!! Thanks Evan and Will? Hope I got his name right.

I was disappointed with what happened here. I told them over the phone that I had already had the problem diagnosed, the two NOX sensors needed fixing/replacing and when I picked it up, I was billed $160 for diagnosing a problem I had already had diagnosed. I had even offered to show them the photo of the scanner codes from the smog guy. So, $ for diagnosing and nothing fixed. Very disappointed as I was up against the regis deadline and needing it to pass smog. If I get a ticket before I can get it in to my shop in Paso Robles, I will seek reimbursement. I should seek a refund for running the darn codes scanner. The smog guy was kind enough to do it for free.

My Toyota Tacoma had a really bad grinding/vibration coming from the front right. I was on a road trip from San Diego and it just kept getting worse and worse. I called several places in Monterrey and no one would help me right away. Fortunately I Found the masters on yelp and was so glad I gave them a call. They were able to diagnose the noise within 15 minutes of me calling. Bonus! They were able to get the the parts and get me back on the road same day. Thanks so much guys. Really great professionals and communication was superb.

I’ve never completely trusted an repair shop until I found this gem. I was shopping for a “new” used car. One was practical and the other was a total cherry. Both had good CARFAX. They found a million different hidden defects with the fancy car and it was like watching detective work. The other car was good. Since then, I’ve had people suggest I replace this or that and I’ll go them and they tell me it’s not necessary yet or something minor can be done instead. Also, while you’re waiting, there’s a room upstairs with desks. Very good customer service too. I like and highly recommend them.

My wife's Honda Civic had a flapping splash shield and she was quite the damsel in distress.We called the Masters at 8am. Mike had us come in right away, attached the splash shield, fixed the wiper blade and sent us on our way for no charge.What awesome service!!My wife is very happy and we're quite pleased with the Masters. We'll be back.

They are great at The Masters. Don't feel like I am being taken Advantage of because I don't know much about cars. Do a good job and nice people. They call when they are done and the car is waiting for you.

Friendly service and great work. They really care about their customers and their cars. We bought a lemon from local cal dealership and The Masters were able to pin point that for us and save us money from not dumping money into a broken car. We will be lifetime customers and appreciate them.

Michael was a great help to me! I heard a high pitch scraping noise while driving out of my work parking lot in Monterey and was too scared to get on the highway to get home. It would have been 30 minutes driving like that. Called up The Masters and brought my car in. He was super informative and very straight forward about what needed fixing (my brake pads were done for and the sensor was making the scraping noise) the cost was on the lower end of average charge for that type of replacement. Wonderful customer service and very helpful with letting me know the other things that he noticed about my vehicle. It wasn't within my budget to fix everything, which I made clear, he didn't try to push me to fix anything else at all and just let me know the time frame of which I should get them done to avoid disasters. I've always been afraid to take my car into shops from all the things I've heard about other auto repair shops in the area (shady and always looking to make more money off unnecessary "repairs"). The Masters has my trust and my gratitude for being super awesome with their services!! Thank you so much, Michael!

Michael is friendly, patient and does an excellent job explaining work that's needed. He took care of me when BMW sold me a used lemon and has earned a customer for life.

Went in for a already diagnosed TPMS sensor by an industry ASE Certified Profesional they ignored what I asked for and tested althea tires ect, they pulled the tire that had the bad sensor and replaced THE sensor, but he couldn't or didn't know how to program the DEVICE TPMS number typed Into The ECU.i was charged $85 for a half done job

My d*** car's check engine light went off while I was road-tripping through Monterey. At a friend's recommendation, I called Masters. Mike told me he was available to check the code immediately and 15 minutes later I had my answer. He explained everything very clearly and gave me great advice for next steps. And then he didn't even charge me!!! Mike is a total lifesaver and if I ever need car help in Monterey again, I won't go anywhere else.
