Volvo at Monterey Bay saved my long weekend vacation. Me and my family traveling from LA to Monterey Bay, just right before we reached our destination, we got targeted and tired got stabbed at Salinas, CA. We tow the car to Volvo dealer at Monterey Bay. It's Saturday morning. Laura Salusky at service dept. helped me. Unfortunately, the dealer did not have my tire at the moment. And they cannot place an order during the weekend. Which means I have to wait until Monday to place an order and the tire won't be delivered until Tuesday. Laura could have just leaving me there, desperate and frustrated. Yet, she helped me to google all the nearby tire shop, open or close during the weekend. Together we called more than a dozen shop, none of them have my tire. However, we did finally find a tire shop that is willing to place an order for me right the way, and it will be delivered on Monday morning, which is the last day of our vacation. She also helped me to search nearby car rental company and made sure that there're cars available, so I won't be running around for nothing. Then she called Left for me to the rental place and it was complimentary service from Volvo. I am so grateful to meet her and her smile really calm me down. I really appreciate everything that she did for me. She really could have just said, sorry, you have to wait until Tuesday. But she didn't. Her outstanding custom service wins my heart. I hope everyone sees this comment and ask for her whenever you need a service in Monterey Bay.

Very happy with Volvo Monterey. I wound up purchasing a Volvo XC90 and was taking my time and Adrian was very patient and understanding without any pressure. I purchased the car today and am very happy with the excellent service I received from Adrian and Julie in finance. I drove over two hours and they met all my expectations and honored the price they quoted for my trade in. I could not be happier. Highly recommend this dealer.

BEWARE: SHADYAfter spending hours negotiating a used vehicle they (adrian) still sold it to us WAY over market value. After everything said and done they said "oh btw we have to keep it for a few days to fix the windshield and tires and change the oil". Keep in mind i asked before "are the cars inspected before" ("Oh yes they go through a lot of inspections").. but after signing the papers they wanted to bring this up and not let us drive off with the car... The tires were new already, the oil life at 90%, windshield was fine.. They would NOT let us drive off with the car.. i confronted them and they said "sorry the tires and oil are already off the vehicle" (6pm when already closed so no they didnt even do anything yet liars). The asian man was about to lose a sale because his TINY little ego was in the way and even threatened to cancel the sale because i wanted the car now... 5 days later they FINALLY let us come pick the car up.. WITH a CRACKED windshield... How long does it take to change tires and oil if supposedly they were already off the car at the time of us buying it (30 mins after we test drove it) DONT EVER come here for a used or new car..they were extremely rude and unprofessional i would NEVER come here again. PLEASE do yourself a favor and stay away.. i PROMISE there is other dealers around. Thanks.

Very upset about our vehicle. We've had an issue with our vehicle not starting intermittently for a couple of months and have taken it in twice and keep getting told they can't seem to find an issue. We've only own it for a little over a year. I've gotten stuck with a car full of children late at night. Took the car yet again this week before a long distance trip and told maybe key batteries.....here we are 8 hours away from home and again our car won't start. Very upset!!

We purchased an XC40 recharge from Bill. The entire process was painless. We we're able to fill out our paperwork online before delivery. We took delivery on a Monday, and immediately upon arrival went into finance and took care of the paperwork, hopped into the car, and drove away. It probably took less than one hour at the dealership. This was a huge difference from the Honda dealership we recently took delivery of a CRV from, for which we spent the better part of an entire day waiting around.

Great experience recently with Trevor in Parts Dept!! I have had the opportunity once prior to have Laura assist me in Service dept and she was excellent too, but recently Trevor went above and beyond to help my family while I was out of town and made sure my Volvo got to the dealership, got two tires replaced, and was there to give my wife the keys Saturday when she could get there to pick it up. My wife was stranded car-less at home with our infant child and I was out of town with our other car. Trevor handled helping me with the tow, tire change and returning the car all same day knowing this was rather urgent. Cannot thank him enough, THANK YOU TREVOR!!

Cameron was amazing, and this was honestly the easiest car buying experience we’ve ever had. Cameron normally works the Jaguar/Range Rover side of the dealership, but his counterpart had just gone to lunch so he was quick to jump in and tell us all about the Volvos we were eyeing. He had a ton of knowledge about the different models, and made us feel safe in our first test drive experience with Pilot Assist and the car driving itself. Thank you, Cameron, for everything!

Buying a vehicle sight unseen is an unnerving experience at best, but Bill Farrow and the team at Volvo Monterey made this experience one of the best car buying experiences I've ever had. Everyone involved was incredibly easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is in the market, locally and from a distance. When my vehicle arrived, you could say I was more than relieved to see that it was indeed, EXACTLY as described. For that reason alone, this dealership gets five stars for honesty and kindness. Great place to do business!

Stopped by on August 11th around 10:30 am and was seriously looking to buy a car that day. A old man came out and rudely asked what I was looking for. I explained what I was looking for and inquired about my trade in. As he picked out some nasty yellow ear wax out of his ear and flicked it towards me, he said rudely with a disgusted look on his face something about my trade in that he couldn’t give blind estimates for trade ins. I was literally trying to explain to him what car I had and that it was in excellent condition and I would have brought it in of course before they gave us a quote for it. But, he would NOT let me explain. By this time I was so disgusted by his demeanor and attitude I just said forget it. I ended up buying a used $40,000 car later that day. So, the owners of this business lost out on a sale and any future business from a long time local resident. All due to having poor communication skills. I hope this review is helpful for the consumers as well as the business. TREAT PEOPLE LIKE YOU WANT TO BE TREATED!

Dropped off my XC60 T5 for service for a common problem were the car doesn't shift out of park and that was supposedly not a recall item then was told it was a recall item? Had the seat belt recall completed also at the same time. Service people were nice but I picked up my vehicle all covered in dust and all dirty. This dealership used to give my car a wash before pick up. I guess their service has changed.

I scheduled a recall service for my Volvo V60 door latch problem on a specific date. I called the day before and Volvo Monterey had nothing on their schedule!! Poor coordination on their part!! Service had no idea I was dropped from the schedule and never called me to confirm.
