This company is lucky it only has 6 reviews, because I know of at least 6 people/families who have stopped doing business here. A simple list: unresponsive, does not communicate and return calls, does not complete taxes on time, office manager curt and harsh and not customer service oriented. Many mistakes on taxes causing taxpayer to have to pay much more than necessary. Wrote the company my concerns through a certified letter. No response. I used this company for years. I have lived in Sebastopol for many years and they had a good reputation, but like everything, things change. And this company has...dramatically. Caveat emptor! Buyer beware!

No communication whatsoever. I contacted them in February and they said they could do my taxes. After following up multiple times I barely got their packet in time to gather all the needed info and return it before the deadline. The "organizer" they sent was basically a 1040 form and not any easier than doing my own taxes. I returned everything and called to confirm that they had received it. Now, a week late, after bugging them again for confirmation, I find out that my taxes were never filed.

They did our taxes this year at a pretty last minute request on my part. They had them done well in time and even filed on my behalf. The process was super easy and we will definitely return.

This company has no process for intake of new clients, poor communication both internally and externally, unfamiliarity with DropBox and google sheets. A mutual break up.

1 of only a handful of businesses in the city or county with excellent & professional customer service, that we can always trust. I would never go anywhere else for taxes. I can't even say enough about these lovely people. It's so nice to go somewhere for a change where people really know & care about what they're doing. We're lucky enough to get to deal with Barbara, the boss. She even discovers things that we didn't even know about before. But that's what a good CPA is for. She's the best!
