We were “assisted” by this~middle aged lady, named Piler. I went to this CVS with two friends, and we are all pretty well-dressed teens. I’m not sure if she thought we were some spoiled rich kids, but that is very far from the truth. My friend bought a sparkling water and an ice cream, but the self-check out said she had three items. Piler came over after we asked for assistance and she aggressively repeated multiple times that the third item, “bottle charge,” had been around for twenty years, that we didn’t know because we had never bought groceries for ourselves, and that we always had our parents do it for us. We were caught off guard because, yes, we have definitely bought groceries before, and no, some of us don’t have parents. Piler refused this and was very passive aggressive about this. We have gotten weird looks from older people before simply because we are teens, no matter how respectful we are, but this was especially disheartening. All we wanted was clarification on what the extra charge was, and we were met with what seemed like thinly veiled prejudice and unfair assumptions.
(Btw, most of our clothing and jewelry is passed down from grandparents/parents and are cheap, and our home lives are not as comfy as she assumes)

CVS is the perfect size and fit for small town Sebastopol. The pharmacy is competent and on time. Good with prompts for medicine, personable.

The store webpage says it closes at 11pm yet when we got there they told us we had 10 minutes to shop because they closed at 10pm. No customer greeting but they didn't have a problem telling me that they wanted to go home when I ASKED how the clerk was.

The pharmacist was extremely rude and judgmental and I believe has violated HIPA regulations. She loudly, in front of others, criticized and belittled me for the meds I am on. She should be fired and criminally charged for violating HIPA, direct quote from HIPA for pharmacists “ Privacy screens and counseling areas: Set up privacy screens and designated counseling areas within the pharmacy to ensure that patient consultations are CONFIDENTIAL AND NOT OVERHEARD BY OTHERS”

I made a Special trip here to buy a couple of Ace bandages and was very surprised to see that they didn't have ANY.
This item, like Band Aids, is a staple that every drugstore should keep stocked.
They did have plenty of candy, though...

Desperately needed some UTI pain medicine early in the morning, store was not open at 7am on a Tuesday as advertised on the website. No other drug stores in area open. Would have stayed home and waited had someone taken 2 minutes of their shift to update hours.

At the CVS at Rohnert Park Expressway , CA, 1-5-24 I had a frustrating experience getting common pain relievers. The signage the pharmacy area wasn’t clear. I ask the young woman at the pharmacy counter where I could get Advil. She didn’t know what it was. I said it’s a pain reliever. She didn’t direct me to the location. I started out of the store and stumbling into the pain relied section which wasn't clearly marked and found the Avil clearly displayed and another item I needed. I went up to pay and asked the same person if they had cold packs (icing products) I asked the pharmacist and he gave me an aisle. I found one product. that I couldn't use and went back to ask if they had jell packs. He wasn't sure. There was another woman there and she didn't know. I left very frustrated. Over the years at this store, I have received poor service with this particular location with a variety of staff.
