This place is awful. Like a pre-Glasnost Russian supermarket. The shelves are bare. Waited 45 minutes to be told the medication was “out”. Replacement prescription was phoned in same day. Took them 2 days. No text. Just went and stood in front of them. They then got to work. When I asked what was going on, the woman said “We’re going through bankruptcy.” Avoid. There’s a CVS a thousand yards away. You’ve been warned.

I went to get my covid vax thinking I had an appointment. I am elderly and guess I hadn't completed the online scheduling correctly. I was told they were very busy and I would have to reschedule. There was not a soul in the store, it was pouring rain. I went back home to reschedule according to the website they had 22 available slots open for covid vaccine for today. I called the pharmacy to express my displeasure with their not offering me a walk-in vax, as it is advertised you take walk-in's. Rather than apologize whoever answered the phone said the pharmacist had to go to lunch that's why they couldn't give me the vax.

I'm still deciding how I feel about this store.I got the app to get points. I have had an account for ages but haven't used it in ages. I thought, on a hot day, it would be fun to grab "Thrifty" ice cream.My general view was of a bit of confusion.Why is the ice cream station empty?Why was the freezer section pretty much empty?In today's day and age, I also wondered, where are the pickup parking spots? They don't seem to have any. Been on the app I can't seem to pre-order and set it for pickup.It seems to me that rite aid is behind the times.The app has told me repeatedly that I need to update and move my pharmaceuticals over. My pharmaceuticals are delivered by mail from Kaiser. Of course when I tried to sign up for it it told me I had no prescriptions on file, no kidding.

I would recommend this place to a customer at the store I work at but I won’t be visiting it myself at anytime as the Sebastopol rite aid horrible customer service and sometimes employees are unfriendly.

I was treated with such disrespect by a cashier. I asked for help with the self check register and she barked at me to move back. When I asked why she treated me like that she said it was because of the Pandemic. Moments later she greeted and exchanged pleasantry with another customer who was NOT WEARING A MASK!! I am an immigrant and after 45 years in this country, this is the first time I felt racial prejudice so overtly.The manager, Lila was very nice when I called and told me that she would take care of this issue.

I don't know why there's such a low score. The pharmacy is far better than CVS. They are very kind and helpful when you need help. The store is so much cleaner than CVS in our town. I used to love going into CVS when it was in the Redwood Plaza, but the new one is always filthy and disgusting. I much prefer Rite Aid. They have what I need here in terms of sundries and pharmacy needs. Big bonus if you are a visitor; postcards are only $.25 lol
