Do not support this business. They only take cash and if you pay early they will say you were late for the last month and steal your money. This is the worst experience I have ever had with any business.

Where to begin. First they are cash only... hmm. Front for something? LolSecondly. I was given a 33ft trailer spot with less than 14 ft to pull out in front of it. Went once when the power was down. First told us sorry you cant go in.. we were headed camping.. then came and rushed us to leave. Stating, maybe you should learn how to drive. I come from a family of truck drivers in Sebastopol and have never felt so disrespected by a place i pay good money to, and cash at that. Beware when renting a space here. Collenne, possibly spelled incorrectly, is surely a peach you do not want to deal with. I am usually one for positive reviews, but i was so disgusted by this experience and the way I was spoken to that I felt it necessary to inform anyone that would like to read this. Plenty of places to store your goods. Dont support bad business and rude people in a world that already lacks quality customer service.

I personally don't store my possessions besides all I really own is a bucket and a hole in my shoe. This place was clean, not one cigarette but to be sniped! Lady at the front desk was real nice too. I would live there

Prices have gone up twice now in the several years I've stored with them. Other than closing fairly early imo (@9) I'd say a safe place to keep your stuff. Never had an incident yet. (Except the month I paid late due to confusion- and got locked out of property access. Staff is friendly. Need a pay online option tho...

Rats, Rats, Rats. . . Our storage unit that we moved into in 2021 got infested with Rats. Rats have been a problem for this company for many years (read prior reviews). When we told the company about the Rat infestation, they clearly knew about it because they had a protocol that they immediately started to monitor it. They also told us that it was our problem, not theirs. We moved out pretty quickly, losing a large pile of important and valuable items. The Rats came home with us and now we have them at our house. Do not use this storage company unless you want to have new Rat friends destroy your stuff and come home with your stuff.

I LOVED Southpoint until now. Rent has increased over 60% in last two years. NEW MANAGEMENT...Mabel Martinez. I stored very happily at this facility with no rate increases for over 20 years. Expect a low price on the front end and then increases regularly due to new owner. RAT infestation too....Funny flooding has occurred for many years in this area but never had a problem with rats before 2018. New owners should be ousted from Sebastopol.

I stored with Southpoint for about 6 months and had an overall smooth experience. This is a family run business with fair pricing and clean, secure facilities. I had a particularly exceptional experience with Trish while in a major pinch— she was alone and absolutely slammed at the very end of her workday when I came in requesting an emergency unit rental (required due to a major failure on the part of my moving company). Trish was kind, authentic, and quite cool in the face of chaos. She hustled HARD to get me into a new unit with literally only moments to spare! I am so grateful for and impressed by her outstanding customer service and wonderful personality, which incredibly brought me a sense of ease while we were both under a lot of pressure. Thank you Trish!!! ♡

This is not a small family business. I'm a neighbor who asked if I could put up a privacy fence between their facility in my yard. Manager stated that this would be a problem and a liability issue. Honestly I can't see what sort of liability issue that would be if I were to hang it on their side of their chain link fence. That would allow me to establish some vines on my back fence that could climb up that said chain link fence, and allow me to replace when it becomes old and tattered. But there was no give-and-take here at all manager said that she 'had an obligation to investors' and therefore cannot help me. That seems pretty un-neighborly to me.

Aside from the no credit cards, which is inconvenient albeit your choice; I think the huge negative (if storing long-term)is that like clock work EVERY YEAR THEY RAISE THE RATE OF YOUR STORAGE. Typically in April and in the amount of $10. (ten dollars) per storage. They do send out a letter a month ahead informing you, which is required by law. This to me is pure greed, this is a very very lucrative business w/o the increases. I'm all for capitalism, but I have 2 other storages; neither place practices this every year; it's once every 5 years if that. With South point I might as well move my stuff every year to save $$., but then why would you call it a s-t-o-r-a-g-e; call it annual-store....Just sayin... something to consider for the long term

For storage lockers its clean and secure. It's a bit much for rent. But never no problems and the women who work in the front office are professional and a nice bunch. I know my belongings are safe .
