Shafter-Wasco Landfill has nice people working there. The recycling area is convenient and the staff are helpful. The lines to get in and at the dump site are usually short. The time spent at the dump is faster than other places. It is easy to dispose of items like old metal gas tanks, furniture, and appliances. The employees are always nice and assist with signs. The landfill is smaller and a good choice for those with not much stuff, but it's best to avoid going after rain.
This place is a real dump. Great place to throw crap off your truck or trailer.
