My in-laws live in Shasta Lake and they use this post office location. And EVERY time they go in there to ship something to me and my wife they pay astronomically high prices! Why? Because the counter workers there don't tell my in-laws that there are more cost effective methods to ship things! Like low cost flat rate packaging. Or Ground Advantage service. Or how to save by using your own box! C'm'on, people! Help your patrons! If you go in here to ship something, make SURE that you ask them what the LOWEST price would be to send your items. Good luck, and buyer beware!

Had to chime in on attitude and rationale for line of questioning. Listen, just to get the ground rules clear, if you are a desk clerk and a small backwater USPS office, you have a job that is, how shall we say, not very demanding. In fact, you could probably smoke pot every day and hang Grateful Dead posters at your window. Not rocket science. Letter comes with a forward from a primary mailing address to an address other than primary mailing address. My legal mailing address is my primary mailing address. Got it? The fact that I have more than one address is a real estate matter, but none of your phauking business, and certainly not worth your pimpy b******* attitude. Remember, you get baked on the killer sticky buds and listen to Jerry - I cannot afford those luxuries as I maintain my records for multi-state real estate holdings, something you will never experience and possibly lack the capacity to fathom. Stay in your pay grade.

Still getting mail from old tenants 7 yes SEVEN YEARS after they moved. This is the letter carriers job to remove these people from my address if they didn’t do it themselves. Instead, they have sent back literally HUNDREDS of pieces of mail that should’ve been stopped in the first place but they refuse to fill out the paperwork. Every other address I’ve EVER lived at, the letter carriers fix this issue immediately. 7 years later still happening. Also, the postal master is extremely nasty and rude just like other people have reported. She’s getting paid $80,000, why have a nasty attitude with the public??? Get your act together.

Great and friendly service. Post Master and staff are all top notch. I am bummed that the p.o. boxes are no longer accessible 24/7 but I understand that this set up was too good to be true.

Since I got a PO BOX, I had used the wrong key every time I went, 3-4 times. A woman postal service employee helped me so patiently each time. The last time, she had me try, only to find out I was using the wrong key and I had a box key belonging to boxes used for packages or excess mail. Her kindness and patience have made me a better user of the post office. Other great people work there too. Customer service is excellent there.
