Ken's Market is a family-owned institution and one-stop shop in the heart of Shaver Lake, serving as a lifeline for the tight-knit community and mountain visitors. It is a souvenir shop and small grocery market in one store, offering a diverse selection of everything you might need. This includes essential groceries, basic essentials, fishing and camping supplies, sporting goods, and souvenirs like sweatshirts, hats, and toys. While some note very high or resort-type prices, others find the prices fair for the area. The store is known for its excellent customer service, with a warm and friendly staff that creates a sense of community. Many find it a nice place to stop, a gathering place, and always a pleasure to visit for its convenience and friendly atmosphere.
I stop by Ken’s Market almost every week and it never disappoints. The produce always looks fresh and well stocked, and the staff are friendly without being overbearing. It has that neighborhood feel that’s getting harder to find these days.

Ken’s has much more than most places in similar settings. And whether you need anything or not, still go in. Lots of groceries and souvenirs to look through. You’re bound to find something to walk out with. Great place.
