About Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center
The Goodwill Southern California Store & Donation Center in Sherman Oaks is a popular thrift destination. It is valued as a reliable last stop on a shopping circuit or for last-minute needs, particularly for items like glassware, where there is always a big variety of vases, drinking glasses, and decorative pieces. Shoppers also frequently find a great selection of vintage lamps and picture frames at prices considered super worth it. The store is described as having a great new energy under new management and is generally clean. Many customers report finding excellent deals, including brand-name items, and note that prices can be lower than at other Goodwill locations, with discount tag sales on certain days. The staff receives consistent praise for being hardworking, polite, conversational, and providing great customer service, even when the store is swamped. Donation experiences are highlighted as particularly positive, with helpful staff sometimes assisting by unloading items from vehicles and going the extra mile to accept donations. The store does have some noted drawbacks. The parking lot is very small, leading some to park on the street or in a nearby paid lot. The selection can vary, with some visits yielding fewer good finds. Some clothing items have been observed as dirty or having holes, and sizes within sections can be jumbled, making shopping difficult. Additionally, some customers find the company's clothing pricing policy unfavorable compared to other thrift stores.
I have lots of fun at the North Hollywood Goodwill store!

The clothes were organised by type and size but all the sizes were jumbled up which made it hard to shop. While the store itself was pretty clean a lot of the clothes were dirty or had holes. I didn’t get anything but the men section looked pretty good.
