Just happened to stop into Goodwill and notice a large group of management people and later learned the CEO of Southern California Patrick McClenahan was in the store. I showed him a pair of leather pants with two holes by price tag placement and told him it was my biggest pet peeve at Goodwill. Let's hope by talking to the person in charge things will finally get better at GW! After spending an hour shopping I found four items after inspection had to leave behind because they had holes from bad price tag placement. Ugh!!!!!!!

The clothes were organised by type and size but all the sizes were jumbled up which made it hard to shop. While the store itself was pretty clean a lot of the clothes were dirty or had holes. I didn’t get anything but the men section looked pretty good.

Carmen and Leticia were SO helpful. We were their last customer, because they were so full already. We had a truck full of stuff, so they had the look of "where the heck are we going to put all this?" After initially telling us they didn't have room for some of the stuff, they went that extra mile and made room for us, so we appreciated that very much.

The place was a mess when I went. The floors were so dirty and everything was everywhere. On top of that, I didn’t find any gems when searching.

I don't even know we're to begin. Rude employees they judge by the look and not to said the discrimination. The way the speak to customer is not polite Im very disappoint of the manager her name is Carmen . The way I was treated today was not aceptable Then you wonder why this store has only 3 starts and 80 percent are very bad

Go early in the morning to drop your stuff off or there is a good chance they will turn you away and say "Sorry, we aren't accepting anymore donation because we're full today". This has happened to me several times. Once are noon. The people that work there are mostly jerks and don't want to deal with the general public. I called once to see if I could pick up their old boxes since we're moving and was told no, we don't have any boxes. I asked what they do with all the boxes ppl bring their donations in and he replied "we tear them up". I said, if I come it, can I get some before you tear them up. The answer was no. I've had many unpleasant interactions w the ppl who work here. They're lazy and don't care about ppl at all. It's ironic that these workers are so unwilling to help other people when what they do all day long is accept free stuff from kind hearted people.

Very small for a goodwill. I thought since it was in a nicer area I would find better quality clothes but I didn’t. Prices makes no sense. I got a nice plain shirt for $5 that would have retailed $25 and kind of new looking l. I wanted this one shirt but it was $7 and it was really worn and the brand was not named. It was also cheap quality.

I asked the lady with the pink coat if she planned to buy the jacket as I tried it on and knew it was for sale and she said "they get it for nothing so I dont have to". Alerted manager carla and the women at the register who was about to ring up the lady in the pink jacket she just pulled off the rack and ripped the tag off of. Carla said her policy is they can only ask them if they want a bag lol and cant say anything else. All i can say is wow.

Insane prices. I've been going to this store for many years as I drive home from work. There have been great purchases in the past of items that were in great condition and priced right.Lately the selection has been not so good. Condition of stuff they're selling also declined. What blew my mind is the prices have skyrocketed. I buy a lot of electronics there and prices are crazy high. Video games used to be $5.99. Now they're $7.99 and the discs are usually gone, stolen by some low life. Stereo receivers used to be $15 - $25 and now they sell for $65. Yesterday I was about to buy computer speakers. The subwoofer has a price of $15 and the satellite speakers were priced at $13. What the hell? Both parts need one another to work yet you can buy them separately. I didn't buy it because at the combined prices it was way too expensive for something that's nearly 20 years old. Now the parking lot is starting to have more and more vagrants. Walkway outside wreaks of urine. I think I've just have had enough of this place and never coming back. The ladies at the registers are nice and sweet. This is just too bad.

4/21/23 I purchased a Samsung tv at the Goodwill store at 14760 Ventura BLVD, Sherman Oaks, CA 91403. I returned the tv the next day it did not work. I asked the manager for my money back. I told the manager that I was disabled. They refused to give me back my money. They had four employees standing around me I felt like I was going to get jumped over this street hustle tv The tv cost $75 dollars for a piece of junk on the sidewalk. That is only worth five pennies a transit would not even purchase. The employees were very rude and disrespectful, with no respect for a customer. very negative, not understanding the customer what they are trying to say. The manager had a bad attitude and no sympathy. very unprofessional for a business. I went to the GoodWill store at the Van Nuys location 14556 Victory Blvd Van Nuys. CA 91411 the two managers I spoke to Tom in Evelon. I explain to the managers what happen with my tv. They listen to what I had to say in were very professional. They return the $75 dollars on my son's credit card the same day.

I usually come here after work and while waiting for my next shift. I purchased a few good stuff like Salvatore Ferragamo teens shoes, Coach purse, Rebecca Minkoff crossbody and Loft unused clothes. I have noticed that Their prices are lower than the other Goodwill stores that I have been too. They have the usual tags for 50% or 25% off. And $1.99 certain tag on Thursdays.Sometimes they have a lot of Knick knacks. But the other day, not much and the stuff aren't good. Small store as well as the parking. There is a paid parking lot beside. If you don't mind the walk, park at CVS.

I have tried to drop off items twice for donation. The first time the doors were closed at 10:30am when they were supposed to be open. The second time, I was there at 5:30pm and the service person told me they were full and not accepting any additional donations. Change your hours if you dont open at 10am and close by 5:30pm. I had great items to donate but I'll be looking elsewhere.
