“Great service great prices. I come here ofte, they know my name know what I like and they make me feel welcome here even when I’m at my worst. They have everything and their prices are great. It’s clean and they let me use their bathroom which most places won’t care and have me pee on the wall. Michael is a genuine guy and makes you feel like a human rather than just money coming in. If you need a place to shop from or stop by this place will will have what you need and will make you feel better knowing you bought it there. Thanks Michael and woodman liquor for being awesome.”

But the real highlight of my recent visit was the custom cake I ordered. I wanted something specific — a double-layer cake with real strawberry berries nestled in the middle, and a light, creamy frosting rather than the heavy, overly sweet kind you often find elsewhere. The team at Gelson's took my vision and brought it to life beautifully. The cake looked gorgeous and tasted even better. The strawberries were fresh and plentiful, the frosting was impossibly light and smooth, and every bite felt like a treat. They nailed exactly what I asked for, and it was clear they put care into every detail.

“My new local convenience mart... Just mere skips from home... This could be dangerous... I've been in so much just for super lotto and various scratcher as well as the occasional night cap or day snack. They have an easy but well utilized layout with small isles of items and plenty of room to navigate about. Metro Liquors off Magnolia and Van Nuys Blvd is a family run mum and pop biz with a lot of wonderful people who run it. They run out of Topo Chico often, my absolute seltzer obsession, but they have plenty of good craft brew options not to mention a solid selection of wine and spirits. Being a neighborhood market of sorts they do carry those small personal hygienic items, accessories, canned food, condiments, paper goods and even some pet related items as there are lots of dog owners and lovers in the area. Technically on the corner of Tilden and Magnolia off a small residential street just behind the Acura of Sherman Oaks dealership... You can find a fair amount of easy parking close by or if your in the area... It's a very easy one day entrance/exit for access. There's usually a good movie or TV show on the screen they have on the floor which I sometime stop and enjoy with whoever is on duty for a beat. Definitely worth checking out even for just some of the best customer service in LA, hands down.”

“I can only judge this place based on my experiences and everyone else must go from there. All I will say is the selection of products is interesting and the prices could be better. However, I love my lady behind the counter!! She’s super sweet!! And the other guy looks like he belongs to an 80’s metal band and is aloof, but he’s still cool……….. “Great experience! This was my first time purchasing alcohol from this wine and spirits store. I ordered a specific bottle of Sake online and it was only available at the Sherman Oaks store, and when I ordered it online, I didn't see that there was any option to have it sent to the location I live closer to.
When I went in to pick it up, Ashley helped me and told me that I can just call her and request that it get sent to the other location after I order it. She even found another bottle available and sent a message to the other store to call me when it is there so I can pick up another. Thank you Ashley!
I will certainly be ordering more from this company in the future thanks to the wonderful and quick customer service!”
