I have a lot of trust in their abilities and services. They are very good at communicating, and their staff is generally pretty friendly.

This clinic is famous for the irresponsibility of its staff. The staff at this clinic are inattentive and don't care about their clients. Here is a typical example. I brought my dog in for a rabies vaccination. Instead of this vaccination, the dog was given several other vaccinations that are not required, and the rabies vaccination was not given. But I was told that all the necessary vaccinations had been completed. It was only when I brought the dog for grooming that it turned out that the rabies vaccination had never been done. After several such incidents, I realized that I could not trust this clinic.

They are way busy all the time!! You need an apt. you have to schedule at least 1 week in advance. Their doctors are ok. My dog never gets to see the same doctor twice.

I've taken my dog and two cats here for three years and I'm so disappointed in the care I received on my latest visit. My son got a kitten that was just weened and wanted a checkup. I was told the visit was 88.00 so we went. The vet looked at the kitten for about 6-7 minutes and said bring back a stool sample. At that point I thought a vet tech would go over the cost of her shots, deworming and all upcoming visits. Nothing. So I bring back the sample and was told that would be 129.00 and if she has a parasite I'd need medicine. When called out on why I wasn't told the sample would be more money they said they'd look into it and ignored me after that. And when I did pick up the medicine (yes I paid the 129.00) I was told 10 days, but the bottle barely contained 7 days worth. Will not be taking my pets back here. It's their policy to disclose all fees before the visit is over and they failed to follow their own rules. And then made me feel bad if I didn't spend the money on the kitten. So beware and ask questions!

I was looking for a new vet and recently began visiting. From the very beginning I have been impressed with how it runs end to end. On my first call and follow-up where I booked an appointment everyone was pleasant, and I wasn't on hold for very long. I was able to get an appointment and they informed me of the parking situation (street/metered) and what they needed from me on the first visit. When I arrived (a few minutes early), their paperwork was easy to fill out and they added it to their system. I was in the private room right on my appointment time, a tech came in to review the basics, a few minutes later the doctor came in. I have a couple observations about my visit that really impressed me. First, I came in for one reason for my pet (UTI) but he noticed that she had some dandruff and zeroed in on that and gave me some recommendations for shampoo to help (allergy/skin stuff). I liked that he was looking at the whole picture and not just the reason for my visit. It was on my list but not the primary reason. That big picture view is what made a good impression on me. Second, the front and back of the office was in sync. When I went to the room, the front desk paged out the room # and waiting for the tech. When the tech left a page went out for the doctor. I saw this the whole time I was there, constant communication between the different areas and staff. I really appreciate a team that works well together, it drives efficiency and everyone being on the same page, they raise the bar. Thank you and keep it up. This also contributed to other people being able to get allergy shots or other services for their pets so they could be in/out. I'm sure the meter situation helps drive this, but I liked the attention to detail in general and after my visit I got two calls over the week as a checkup, lab results and ensuring my pet was doing well. Thank you all and looking forward to future visits.

McGrath Vet Center came in clutch when I needed just a few days of my cat's meds in between online pharmacy deliveries. I'm always impressed with their courtesy and their willingness to go the extra mile to care for our pets' health and wellbeing.

I just have to applaud this vet office again for their amazing team! Our Rottweiler King peed blood over the weekend & we immediately called McGrath to get him checked. We were able to get an appointment the same day & they were willing to let us assist with getting King comfortable so that the tech's would be able to preform a sterile urinalysis & X-Ray & a rectal exam from Dr. Medina. If you read my last review, you know how nervous we were for King to get brought to the back as he didn't have a great experience with this at his last vet, which is why we switched to McGrath. Let me tell you, McGrath is staffed with the BEST vet tech's & veterinarians in the area! They are able to handle large breeds & that is a HUGE PLUS for us. They are always so understanding & are always happy to see us. It really makes us feel comfortable knowing our dog is taken care of & he actually enjoys going to the vet again because of the positive experiences he has associated with the staff. McGrath never pressures us to spend more than we have to & are always very honest about what King needs. Our old vet sucked our wallets dry with every suggested medications, treatment, and unnecessary tests that you could think of. If you are looking for quality healthcare with a staff that truly cares for your beloved pet, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!

Dr. Medina took great care of my 15 year old Shihtzu Dash. He really needed his mouth tended to as a number of his teeth were rotten and his breath has been horrible for a few years. He was also shaking his head and scratching at his ears over the last year, and she was able to clean his ears and diagnose a yeast infection. For the ears and teeth Dr Medina explained everything to me clearly and answered all my questions. They took a $250 deposit for the day of surgery and that was deducted from the total. I was originally quoted a range of $1200-$4,000 for his teeth removal depending on the severity. She did Bloodwork, cleaned his ears and treated the yeast infection, removed 7 of his teeth, gave me a pain medicine and an anti bacterial for him, all for $2,518.The blood work was a bit expensive, it was $350ish alone.I had originally feared spending a ton of money on this, and $2500 isn't small potatoes but overall I feel like I was fairly charged and the service was really good. They took him in on Tuesday for Bloodwork and ear treatment, and on Friday we had the teeth removal.Thank you Dr. Medina, keep up the good work.

Dog still isn’t the same after the neuter there and they dont schedule a post operstory to make sure pet is OK. Instead asked for $1200 more and said pet was fine. So had to go elsewhere where they found many infections and issues. Not all vets are the same. Choose wisely. Money is their primary here. Hard to see when emotional about pet and as first time owners or when young and don’t know how some vets are. They do not allow you inside. Wonder why.

I used to go here, and I used to like it, but the practice has really declined. I had two senior dogs and one passed suddenly but no fault of the vet. My second one, we took in to get his regular blood work (not cheap) because he had kidney issues right after my first one's passing. A week, then two go by. My husband and i kept calling to ask about the results. We weren't that concerned because he had been stable for about a year and we assumed it bad they would have gotten them to us right away. Finally, three weeks later, I get his labs and they tell me that one kidney level is elevated and he needed new meds. These meds had to be purchased from a compounding pharmacy they said would contact me and I never heard from them. I called the vet and they said they'd look into it. Another week passed and my boy stopped eating. By the time they got the meds he was so sick and there was nothing that could be done. Almost a whole month went by from the time that he got his labs drawn to when they finally got the meds to me. Knowing I had just lost my one dog, and that my second one was senior with kidney issues, you'd think they'd care enough to ensure his results got to me asap. Instead the staff casually said "oh we dropped the ball." There was nothing left to be done and we had to say goodbye. I never received an I'm sorry or any other consolation from the practice. But a few weeks later I got a reminder to bring him in for teeth cleaning. I wrote to them letting them know how upsetting it was to see this after all that went down and got zero response. I used to feel like they knew our dogs and cared for them, and then suddenly I was seeing different vets and the prices were getting ridiculous. I will never go back considering how careless they were with my dog's results and how nonchalant they were over the death of two of my beloved dogs who were 17 years and 16 years, respectfully. Had I known his results and gotten him the proper meds, I know he wouldn’t have declined so fast. I would have given ANYTHING for more time with him even if it had been only weeks or months. I would suggest going elsewhere because this practice has really changed for the worst.

My golden retriever started limping on her back leg so a friend recommended this place to me and since my regular vet is out of town I decide to give it a try I called and got an appt really quickly went there mainly for X-rays. Saw DR/ Kiss who was very nice spent the time needed to discuss the case is he recommended X-rays and labs the estimate came to $1020 which is extremely high so I agreed to do the X-rays which is $580 Plus office visit . Then I was waiting for X-rays results for 1 hour in waiting room then DR/ kiss came out and said she can not view the X-ray now due to technical issues !!!! Really , she said she can give a better price for the labs instead of $ 480 went to $330 !! So now we are in price negotiations and that's when I knew Iam in the wrong place it is all about money and not pet care ended up leaving after paying almost $700 for 8 X-rays and office visit and did not get the X-ray results , I called the next day and got a call back from Dr/kiss and she discussed the X-ray results . Care is ok but very very over priced I wouldn't come back and would not recommend it here if I can still get the same level of care for much cheaper price.

Chris is excellent. Very good listener, very empathetic, and overall has a great personality. Call it was my first time at this office, and my experience with Chris made me feel safe at a new vet office. The vet, Dr. Braunstein, was very thorough and did a great job with my baby. I am very happy to have found this vet. hopefully I won't need them in the future, but if I do, I won't have any hesitation to come back. They don't try to upsell you, which I also appreciated.
