Erinne and Jaylynn saved my hair from years of bad coloring!! The salon has a fun vibe and everyone is upbeat, not to mention how attentive, friendly and professional they are. I cannot say enough great things about how fabulous my hair looks every time I walk out! Next, I'm going in for a cut! Yay!

I've been coming to studio 212 for my haircuts for a long time now. Errine has always been my go to girl for yearsssss. This time around I REALLY needed a haircut, but my schedule didn't align with her availability before my wedding date. So, she recommended her girl Jaylynn to cut my hair. Jaylynn did a great job! She gave me exactly what I wanted. I have no more dead ends, and my hair is full of life again :)

I recently moved to Sherman oaks from Chicago and desperately needed a haircut and a touch up on my color. Studio 212 had great reviews and was nearby so I decided to give it a try. Jaylynn did my hair and she did an awesome job! She did so much more for my hair than I expected and really brought the shine and bounce back to my hair- not to mention she gave an awesome head massage with my conditioning treatment! She took her time perfecting my cut and chose the treatments that she thought would be least damaging to my hair which I really appreciated. I'm loving my hair more than I have in years. I called to book an appt. as a new customer, the phone rang until a recording picked up, I left a message, no one returned my call. A couple weeks later I tried again with the exact same result. Two strikes your out.

Yesterday I had my hair cut by Nina. Prior to booking she was responsive and even shared her work with me. When I got to the salon she was super kind and had a lovely vibe about her. Although I was nervous seeing someone new, Nina was easy to talk to and communicate with. I had some ideas of what I had in mind for my hair. And asked for her opinion. She has style so why wouldn't I trust her judgment. I appreciated her honesty and professionalism. I need low maintenance cuts because I wake up really early to commute to downtown LA. My hair is really thick and can be super heavy, especially in the summer. Nina took off a lot of weight without giving me a shaggy look. She knew what I needed even though I feel like I confused her with what I thought I wanted. Bottom line, Nina will take care of you and your hair.

3 weeks ago I was an ugly orange blonde with un-even tones of brown, blonde, orange, and even red I hated it but didn't want to go to someone else because my haircut was awful and I have never found someone to do my hair and I love the way it turns out so I decided to do my own color with the box from sally's and clearly my hair was uneven with now just tones of dark brown/black I called and made an appointment with Errine and it was the best decision EVER! I am absolutely in love with my hair I feel so beautiful as a business owner myself the service was amazing from beginning to end and I have officially found MY stylist and will be coming here forever!

I was recommended to Nina and decided to get my hair dyed by her. It had been more than 10 years since I dyed my hair! I was a bit nervous but Nina is such a sweet and welcoming hairstylist. She made me feel comfortable right away. I showed her a picture of some highlights and once I dyed it and went home I wasn't too happy because I realized highlights were not for me. I texted her a day after and she was so nice and told me to come in the next day to add more toner. I came in on Christmas Eve and she was understanding and wanted to make sure I was happy with the end results. I showed her some pictures and she added more toner to remove the highlights. At the end of the day I was very happy and pleased with my results. Thank you so much Nina!

I am always hesitant to cut my hair because I have had so many bad cuts but that was not the case today. I was referred to Nina by a friend and have had the best cut I've had in years! She is super sweet and talented! I showed her what I wanted (a bluntish lob) and asked for input and I got exactly what I wanted. Thank you so much! I LOB it. he he

I had the shittiest experience with Raul. Raul at 212 Studio on Ventura Blvd! I've never been so angry at a stylist or anyone for that matter! I walked in and as soon as he realized I put enough money in the meter, because he asked me if I did, he starts giving me a different price, charging me extra for roots. Uhmm I'm getting full highlights? He didn't tell me the roots are extra 50 dollars. Not one salon has charged me extra for roots when doing full highlights. Never! Anyway, I agreed to pay because who gets full highlights without their roots? Weird! I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I ended up getting partial highlights + roots because he said he's " generous with highlights"! I paid 175 freaking dollars and I still had orange and brown in my hair. He says he's generous with his highlights but he's not! From what I can see! The top didn't match the ends. While he was doing my hair I was confiding in him, telling him a horror story of past experience and showed him pictures and he agreed they did a horrible job. So anyway when I got home I saw a lot of orange and brown so I called and kindly asked him if he would add more highlights or toner, the sides especially looked well, not good! He initially agreed but the day of the appt he cancelled on me! His excuse was his house got robbed and we was not going to work that day. I was upset because it was obvious he didn't want to do anything judging by his tone! SO GUESS WHAT I DID? I showed up to his salon at my appt time and guess who's working? Raul! Gave my appointment to another person! What the actual f**** I pretended I was there to see someone else but nope! caught him in a f****** lie! I regretted giving him a generous tip and paying for his service. I had 3+ different hair colors like toucan Sam! What the f*** am I paying you that much for huh? If that wasn't enough, we spoke the same day I caught him in a lie and he says "I should have known the way you were talking about the 12 other salons it was a red flag and I should have turned you away! What the f*** Raul, the audacity! 12? Exaggerating much? Unfuckingbelievable. First you lie to me then disrespect me because I had a bad experience and I confided in you?! Who the f*** does that!!!!? Raul is not only rude, opinionated, but also a racist and extremely disrespectful! What the f*** is this world coming to? People need to take a course in customer service or what!? Ohhhh let me not forget to tell you- make sure you brush your own damn hair because RAUL will brush it right off your head. I have more split ends and damage after that. Not as full as before desperately needing a haircut worse condition than what I walked in with!

Honestly, I'm speechless. I had been through the ringer this last month with my hair. It went from blonde to black to orange (prior to Studio212) and Andi saved me. She brought NORMAL colors back into my hair. I feel like I can go out into the world again. And she took me in last minute no less. She is truly incredible and is amazing at her job.
