I’ve been a longtime Wells Fargo customer, but after this experience, I’m done with them. Despite cashing multiple checks from my employer without issue, they suddenly decided to place a hold on my most recent one. When I asked why, they falsely claimed the delay was on Bank of America's side—but after verifying with BOA, I confirmed that wasn’t true.
Their incompetence didn’t stop there. I even brought a letter from BOA proving the payment had been processed, yet Wells Fargo refused to accept it simply because it wasn’t in the exact format they preferred. Meanwhile, they’ve been holding my funds for over a week, despite my employer’s payroll department showing me proof that the check cleared and the money was already withdrawn from their account.
This level of service is completely unacceptable. As soon as my funds are finally available, I’ll be withdrawing everything and closing my account for good. Wells Fargo has proven to be unreliable, unhelpful, and dishonest—customers deserve better.

Most disrespectful bank customer service rep I’ve ever come across in my life.After the rep was late I was told to sit down multiple times by Erlin, and then when I told him to stop telling me to sit down and I had more questions he walked away saying he was going to go to “lunch” and came out and went right back to his office.He was rude from the jump and completely unacceptable service.

Wells Fargo Ventura/vesper Sherman Oaks CAIn the afternoon of 12/01/2023, I deposited a check at Wells Fargo Ventura/Vesper Sherman Oaks branch. There’s a long line and I was called at the counter after more than 20 minutes. The teller didn’t even smile and looked at me just asked what she can do for me, so I gave her the check she then showed it to the teller next to her. And she told her that this is the 1st time I had this issue. She seems very irritated and told me do you want to fix this now or this deposit will be put on hold. Obviously the date on the check is wrong 11/31/2023, there will never be 31st for the month of November but still anyone can make a mistake. I told the teller yeah I see the date on the check is wrong but she can also check my bank account I always get a check every 2 weeks from that same company since I get my salary from them. Then she told me while flipping the check in front of me that’s a legal paper and you can’t make a mistake. So I asked her how many days it will be put on hold she replied for 5 days. Then I told her then that’s fine with me. That teller was rude ? and I don’t know if can you even refer a check as a legal paper?

This has got to be one of the worst banks I’ve been at. Manager has no sense of customer service, even though we have been customers of Wells Fargo for years, they still treat you like a suspect and won’t let you deposit money into our account because of technicalities…. Honestly, better of going to a further branch, or just with an alternate bank. Just awful

By far the worst banking experience I’ve ever had the tellers are extremely rude especially one of the lady tellers not helpful disrespectful and plain useless would not recommend coming to this bank service was non existent here

Why would you only have 2 tellers on a Friday end of the month? The line is out the door. THIS IS RIDICULOUS!!!!!!UPDATE: Two years later it's still bad. Line is literally out of the door. Now they only have one cashier. It's the 31st..... hello at least have 2 AVAILABLE CASHIERS at the end of the month/ first of the month waiting in line now for 40 MINUTES!!!! People are really upset and complaining to the manager. 5 people total have left the line so far. Someone just told the manager he needs a new bank. Imagine having literally a 3 minute transaction and having to wait almost an hour.

This has to be the worst branch in the city, and i mean this in all aspects. Horrible customer service from tellers to the managers. They have one teller open at all times when the lines is out the door. The manager is standing in the back and does not offer any assistance, it's very frustrating. The service manager is extremely rude and unprofessional, it's just a really bad branch

Every time I come here there is only one person working the teller window. Even when there’s a long line nobody comes to help. I give it two stars instead of one because sometimes even though only one person is working the window, it’s not super busy. It’s frustrating when it is busy though

There is always a ridiculous line. For a company making billions of dollars,much of it through bogus fees and accounts, modification foreclosure fraud, even the cares act forbearance fraud, they make no effort to hire train or otherwise reduce these lines. Never deal with this bank.

Ugh always long lines, never enough personnel, teller should refrain to engage conversations with customers when there's an extreme line, it gets me anxiety to walk inside this branch. Everything should be done online banking nowadays, can't wait for that to happen so I don't have to set foot here.
