I've been with wescom since 1998, and when you need them the most during trying times, and no fault of yours and being called a valued member, for many, many years, you quickly Realize that if you're not an asset to them the value is no longer there. Just when I thought I could count on the institution that has held my money and used my money for personal gain throughout 20+ years. Is a BIG disappointment to say the lease! Thanks for nothing Wescom..

Tara is the worst manager. I came in to deposit. She refused because I came to deposit to logix. She said my bills were unacceptable and I was not a member with them so she would not be providing any assistance. Worst service. NEVER will I sign up now.

The automated services sucks. Very difficult to speak with someone. Wait time to talk to someone is way too long. After waiting for a long time I got disconnected. Come on people improve your customer service.

Let me start off by saying I have been a Wescom member since the 1990s. I'm not sure what has happened to this institution but customer service has certainly taken a turn for the worse. Recently, my atm credit card number was stolen, wescom sent me a text asking me if I'd made two charges for an amount a little over $200. I immediately responded NO and they froze the card. So far no problem. I called the bank. Let them know what the issue was and they said no problem. We will send out a new card I asked about the $200 charges would they reverse the charges and they said no. They needed to do an investigation and it could take up to 10 days and they needed to give the merchant time to explain why the charges were not legitimate. Are you serious? YOU sent me the text saying they were fraudulent and now you're holding $200 just in case the merchant claims that he had a valid card from some scammer and does not want to pay himself? I have never had this happen in the past, with other institutions /cards, Once they identify it as fraud, they refund the money and investigate later. Basically, Wescom is holding my $200 just in case the merchant says they are legit. I asked what did this had been several thousand dollars. The answer was I would still be out the money and I would have to wait 10 days for the investigation to complete. I'm very concerned now that if I get hit with a large amount someday in the future because someone stole my credit card number from a gas pump or a farmers market, Wescom will not have my back. Very disappointed, as sad as it is I may have to look at other banking options this type of risk is really unacceptable.

The guy that helped me is always friendly as well as this other lady with grey/blond hair and glasses love her!! BUT this older lady with short brown curlyish hair who was there at 145pm oct 6th was soo rude and condescending, not sure how she works with people everyday and also witnessed her being rude to other workers as well. Never want to be assisted by her again. Love this bank and have never had a bad experience until witnessing that lady.

Do not use the Cashiers check system. If anything should happen to the check there is a 3 month hold to replace it. This will destroy your life. If you have to use a cashiers check system, find one that can guarantee the check and replace it in no more than 7 days. Wescom is not prepared for 2023.

I have been a Wescom member for 4 years and generally like the service. However, the mobile app is LITERALLY USELESS! The Zelle feature doesn't work at all and is a HUGE inconvenience. Every time I go into the Zelle screen, the whole application crashes. I have reinstalled the app many times. I have done a Force Stop in my phone for the app many times. I have called Wescom tech support many times with no results. I'm only told that the issue is with my phone. But that can't be because all other features work just fine. My phone is not that old, it's a Galaxy S20! Clearly, the app is defective, but no one has been able to resolve the issue. I've let this go for a very long time now, and that feature not working is so important to me that it might be the only reason I close my account.

I've been with Wescom for 14 years and they are nothing but the best. No long lines and excellent customer service. If you looking to get a loan I definitely recommend you talk to luis villegas. He was polite, kind, and extremely helpful and goes above and beyond and will guide you through your best options. I don't understand why he is not in the Sherman Oaks location anymore, lately, I see a lot of staff are replaced with new staff, if they are doing an outstanding job, why have they been replaced? Sherman Oaks Ca, the branch is the best, I hope Luis Villegas returns to this location very soon.

I am updating my rating after receiving a very gracious and genuine phone call from the Branch Manager Cecil. After learning about my experience described in the previous review, Cecil called me to apologize for my experience and to learn in more detail what happened to me so that he could remedy the situation and make sure things like that don't happen in the future. He seemed sincere and truly concerned about my experience. The fact that I received a call from Cecil was a relief to me. I was able to tell him the whole story of my experience, and he listened carefully. It makes me feel much better about my existing relationship with Wescom, and the fact that someone higher up actually cared about my relationship with them. Cecil actually took the time to explain to me why there would potentially be an issue in making my deposit. He listened and offered reasoning behind the scenes instead of just saying no. I am a reasonable person and can understand if there are certain things that cannot be done. But to simply dismiss me as if I had done something wrong without explanation is where my concern was. Cecil's concern about my experience, and his desire to improve in his branch's area of weakness really helped to relieve the frustrations I had held since my last experience. My confidence with Wescom has been restored and I will continue to be a member. I hope that Cecil's warmness and caring nature will trickle down to his staff members. Thank you for making this right.

There's no lender with better rates anywhere. Usually almost half of what the big banks charge. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is there's not enough branches. I walked out with 4.53% APR VS Chase @7.73%!! Dylana Brame at the Sherman Oaks office was extremely professional and helpful providing me info and keeping her cool while I surely tested her patience! My previous loan officer, Tara was pretty great too. Contact Dylana and save a ton of money on your loan!

This is a great banking option. Credit unions operate as co-ops which provide a wider network of atms than any individual bank. This particular location has helpful staff and I’m never in line for more than a few minutes.
