“Six Yellow Chairs is an antique and home accent shop in Shingle Springs, CA. This small but mighty shop is filled with home and garden decor, some are brand new and a lot of if is older. The older items are gently used and lovely restored. The antique furniture such as the dressers and silverware cabinets are professionally painted in gorgeously boring, neutral colors. Most of the furniture have been refurbished to a current shabby chic style and vibe. There are some pieces still in its original wood state, not painted. The prices are not particularly outrageous or thrifty. They seem to be aligned to other local area antique shops. Unbeknownst I dropped in close to 15 minutes before closing. The gentleman working there did not shoo us away or rush us out. Quite opposite, he warmly greeted us and advised even though he is closing soon to please look around and holler if we have questions.”

“Most AMAZING experience today. It seems so rare to find a business owner that really truly cares about their customers. My son wanted to look for some basketball cards today. I did a little Google search and found Legends Sports Cards, Collectibles & Memorabilia in Cameron Park. Steve is the owner and he is phenomenal. We were there for almost 1 1/2 hours talking about cards and Hot Wheels. Steve does his job because he loves it and he loves being a part of the community, and it shows. We loved it so much that we are making the drive back tomorrow. My son left feeling like he made a great friend in Steve. If you are ever in the area of Cameron Park, stop by this gem of a shop and you won’t be disappointed.”

“We contacted Dan due to the good reviews on Yelp. He did a last minute project for us as my daughter was moving to another state with a unique piece of furniture that needed some d wer locate work done before leaving. He did a thorough, quality job even with the short time contraints. His prices were fair and I would absolutely use him again. Wood working is truly a dying art so please consider him for any of your wood working or refinishing needs. Fair prices and a quality job are rare attributes these days.”

“Four stars because I didn’t melt inside during the hot day. It’s a rare day one goes into a decently cooled antique store of this size. Those of us who shop these sorts of establishments will understand this special shout-out.Now, for the shopping. The pricing is what one should expect for an Old-Town antique store. By this I mean it’s a tad bit higher then average, but this is by no means wrong. Folks are traveling to this town to get a sense of history, and are willing to pay for the experience. Inside you’ll find all of the typical booths and cases full of antiques and vintage glass. Collectibles of all sorts of genre and age. This is a fun place to take folks to who you aren’t sure will even want to go into an antique shop. Like a new aunt in-law who you can’t tell like you or not. The store is not cluttered so it’s easily accessible for her so no threat of broken hip. That might put a damper on things :)”

“This is a gem of a shop. Sheryl, the owner, not only has an eye for beautiful items & how to display them, she is also sweet & friendly which makes shopping there (or just browsing) a real treat. But trust me, if you're "just browsing" you're bound to find something that you'll bring home!”
