I really liked this place when we first pulled up. Affordable gas. Nice bathroom. But then they tried to charge my wife $1 to fill up her water bottle with water from the soda fountain after we had just paid $50 for gas. What a silly policy. 1/5 stars.

Regrettably I must award this Sinclair station a mere 4 stars. As a grown man who chooses his gas station based on dinosaur statuary I must deduct one star for the missing dinosaur which one expects at all 5 star Sinclair's. Otherwise a well lit, clean, fine looking establishment sorely in need of the welcoming green statuette.
(Edit) I have awarded the 5th star in light of the owners response pointing out the true culprit of the missing dinosaur, the government. I should have known the enemies of the Republic were to blame all along.

2nd cheapest gas between Tahoe and Sacramento. I always enjoy the Sinclair locations directly off the freeway, but this facility only had a tiny grocery store inside with some snacks and drinks. Really appreciated the two free—and clean—bathrooms available outside to customers also.

Stopped here on my way up the mountain to gas up. It was dark and because I had a bit of a drive I checked under my hood before getting on the road. The young man working that evening came out to make sure I was okay and asked if I needed help. That means a lot being a woman as well as a mom. Whoever his parents are.... You did good. And whoever his boss is... Give that young man a bonus.
