Took our 2017 Toyota 4runner in for a 60,000 mile service. Thorough check, cost much less than we expected. Love that they tell us we can/should wait on some items rather than suggesting unnecessary work. Highly recommend!

I've been to most of the repair shops in Cameron Park and after going to Foothill Automotive I absolutely won't go anywhere else. Rob is by far the best and most experienced mechanic around. He knows the ins and outs of every issue, is very friendly and takes the time to answer any questions I might have. He knows all the other repair shops and never hesitates to recommend another shop for quality work that they don't handle. They charge a competitive labor price and don't over charge for parts even though they always use original manufacturer's parts. I know I can trust them to do the job right and the quote you get is the price you pay. Once another related part failed on the same system after the first repair and they fixed it again under warranty and only charged for the part. It's refreshing to find such an honest shop. I'm so glad I found them and highly recommend them for any repairs on your vehicle. I just hope Rob doesn't decide to retire anytime soon.

Finally, I found an honest, competent car repair shop. This shop fixed a problem that dealerships failed to do. This shop only does what is necessary and does not engage in unethical behavior. I trust these folks and my vehicles have found a home, finally! You will not be disappointed.

We had. friends visit from Canada and they were having car issues while on the trip. We took the car to Rob on Monday morning asking him to diagnose. He was already fully booked that day but he fit us in. He looked carefully at the car and put together a repair plan later that morning. It confirmed what we suspected. He said he could get parts and complete repair by close of business next day. He completed the repairs ($1,000) later the next morning and they were ready to go. So he fit us in, completed the repairs and solved the problem in a day and a half. We so appreciate his skills in finding the problem, repairing it, and getting them back on the road in such a timely fashion. Rob and company performed flawlessly on resolving this issue. Well done Rob!

Rob and his staff are great! I always feel like I get quality work at a fair price! I recently gave them an out of the ordinary, crazy difficult job, requiring some creative solutions, and Rob stuck with it until it was done!

I had a leak in some of the hoses and a few other issues I wanted fixed before a move. Rob was very informative, budget conscious and kind which I really appreciated!! This company does fast work, easy to communicate with and reasonably priced. Definitely recommend using them :)
