My experience was beautiful, one of the mechanics knows his profession and is good at what he does with his skills and his name is Mr. Rico. He's been with the company since the 80s and I love his work. I took my car back today because it was making this sound. And he found out what was asap and repaired it for me, no charge.Jarrett is the manager awesome man, great customer service. I would recommend anyone to go to THIS AAMCO They know they stuff and Jesus is in charge.

The manager reached out to us asking to touch base about how they can "make it right" after we reviewed the business and stated our AC unit worked BEFORE we took it in and now it doesn't. There is an obvious crushed or missing wire and they deny any wrongdoing. The manager reached out on Yelp and then never followed up for real with my husband. It is not an AAA approved a facility and I see why!

I came to AAMCO because they did a great job on my U joints last year. When I took my car to them this time, they repaired the radiator and the brake booster. But when I got the car home I noticed that I no longer have A/C. Then I noticed a broken line coming from the radiator area. I took it back in and they told me that the line somehow must have sheared off, and that the repair would cost over $600. I feel that the damage was done when they replaced the radiator…the broken line is literally next to the radiator. However they disagreed and would not repair it u see warranty. I’m very disappointed in AAMCO’s inability to own up to breaking that line. I know it won’t matter, but I’ll never bring my vehicle back to the Signal Hill location.

Came in a mess my car falling apart, and within a few minutes they had helped me beyond just the car. Some mechanics, make pretty good barbers.

This is one of the worst places you can take your car to get look at, Repaired or even Diagnostic they will try to charge you for a Diagnostic which is 182 dollars before they even confirm if your still under warranty & Cover....they have lack of communication with there customers.. Specially Jarrett...I was told I will receive a call back to regard my updated on my vehicle & yet I never received one..I then call them to see what's going on & Yet they tell me they haven't started on my car yet they waiting for an approval from me to do a diagnostic when they haven't even called my warranty first to see if I'm covered....They work ass hole backwards & is by far 0ne of the worst auto repair company/shops I been to ...When I had a scheduled appointment for my car to be looked at diagnostic all the above ...2-3days later still nothing done no call back to update the customer on what's going on ......just horrible horrible customer service & I would suggest Nobody don't give this place any more attention towards business as they will mess your car up this is the 3rd car / time they tempt to fix with horrible services....Go to Pep Boys they are way Better & Respect there customers Quit well ...Don't sat I didn't tell yal !

I brought my car in to get the transmission fixed and was told it would take only 3-4 days. After doing their free test drive and checking the fluid levels and checking the error codes with the OBD2 diagnostic tool I was told it would cost $165 for the technician to narrow the problem down. Okay so after paying $165 they told me I had a pressure problem. The transmission but it would cost another $900+ to take it apart and find out where and why... So after my car was there for 3 days already they still couldn't tell me how much it would cost and didn't know what was wrong with it. I paid the $165 and drove my car outta there to another mechanic. This place wants to get you invested so you're at their mercy to fix your car. I wasn't about to pay $900+ for them to tell me I needed a new transmission. I didn't feel comfortable with their service and would not recommend this location to anyone. They are not honest mechanics. I would expect a mechanic to tell me exactly what is wrong with my car if it's been at the shop for three days. Stay away from this location.

Came in to work on my transmission but I told them to rebuild everything and make it like new but since they didn’t want to and they said I only need the clutch’s replaced I just took my transmission back and they said they won’t rebuild it or put it back together if I don’t want there service so they just take it apart and return it in parts because I didn’t accept there service because they wanted to do what they want and not what I said, transmission 6R80

My name is Darrell Thomas and I can honestly say my experience at the Signal Hill, Long Beach location was very rewarding. The Manager - Jarrett was kind, helpful and very welcoming. I told him that I had an extended manufacturer warranty that I had recently purchased, however, I only had enough money to pay the $100 dollar deductible on my policy.I asked if he could please help me without charging me for a whole bunch of diagnostics that I would be personaly liable for. Jarrett explained to me that they could hopefully pin point what diagnostic test to run by test-driving the car, and if correct, the insurance company would cover the fee. They ended up being correct on the diagnostics and my transmission, front drive axle and transmission mount were all repaced and I only had to pay a $100 deductible.I can truely say that they did a great job repairing my car. Thanks Again !!!Based on my prior personal experiences with other companiesI would definately recommend AAMCO to my friends and familyand of course Jarrett was HONEST, PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGABLE which was a refreshing change of pace.Service: Transmission

I've been going to AAMCO Signal Hill for service to my 1973 Lincoln Mark IV since 2015. Although "vintage car care" was not their "specialty" back when I started, they seem to have MADE it their ability over that time. The mechanics (especially Fermin and Benz), the Owner, Rico, and knowledgeable Front Desk Supervisor, Jarret, are all enthusiastic, courteous and experienced. Most importantly. I never have to go back twice on the same repair -- what they fix is FIXED. (Unlike some of their local competitors who have a lot of ATTITUDE -- BUT NO CHOPS for this sort of thing...)
