Recently while buying materials for a project I was dismayed to learn that Home Depot has discontinued Veterans and service members discounts on many products. It's impossible to know which items are eligible for discounts while shopping. At least their competition still offers store-wide discounts to Veterans.

Being s new home owner I truly missed the days of having a landlord that took care of the basic maintenance and installation of my apartment. First order of business was to sign up for free Hone Depot Pro rewards program, which will afford discounts and cash after you accumulate points. I love plants but I do not have a green thumb luckily Home Depot have trained horticulture specialist who advised the Snake plant will be the best selection. Indeed it was I have since purchased 3 additional snake plants which do not required sunlight and a lot of daily or weekly watering. I also purchased a cute bathroom cabinet and the tools needed to assemble and hang this product. Once again a helpful Home Depot attendant from plumbing advised on the proper way to assemble and hang this cabinet on my kitchen wall. I am a early bird so I usually arrive at 6am. Oftentimes there will be a nice greeter to welcome you, and the staff is overall friendly and pleasant. The inside and outside of this store is very clean. I tend to have to wait for my driving services and I feel safe waiting outside .

If I can give 0 I would. Walked in early morning and "Mickey" in electrical was completely disrespectful. He was ignoring us when we were talking to him then acted out and said we shouldn't ask him questions when he's working. Very horrible service!!!!

Went to this Home Depot to get 7 different sets of blinds cut at the station. Everybody knows that all the employees avoid any stations that require their assistance, especially the blinds. I waited 25 minutes for the employee to get to the aisle after being paged. He got here and asked, "you need all of those cut?" And said i gotta call someone else, and walked away. Waited another 20 minutes for the next employee to get to the aisle. So unorganized and unprofessional. Get your shit together! Time is money!

Just had a very pleasant experience. The staff here Miguel, Stephanie and Tyler all went above and beyond to take care of an issue with my order. I can't thank them enough. They are why I'm a happy Home Depot customer. Thanks.

Ordered a new toilet from this location. Had it delivered, paid full price. Was not new. Had wax seal remnants on bottom from previous install, was missing mounting hardware and hardware for mounting tank to bowl did not match, was rusted and obviously from an older toilet. Whoever returned this item kept what they needed and replaced some of the new hardware with old. When I called to explain the situation the infant on the phone only had excuses and an attitude. Since I needed to complete the install I picked up the necessary hardware from my local True value. I explained to the mental midget that I simply needed a partial refund for the missing parts and suggested they take a closer look at returs and restocked items. After I clearly put him out by expecting him to actually do what he is paid for I was told I'd get a call back in 30 minutes. That was two days ago. He must not have had the authority to make a decision on such an important matter and has passed it up the chain. I'm certain I'll be getting a call anytime now after much deliberation by the top brass. In the meantime, my suggestion to anyone needing anything from a store such as this would be to take your business to Lowes, Gnall, True Value, etc. Maybe if this company loses enough business they just may start employing people who have the ability to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Yesterday I went to the store to get a light bulb for one of my husband's favorite lamps. He had accidently knocked it over and the light bulb broke. I couldn't find the light -- a MAX 27 WATT 120V anywhere in the display. A really knowledgeable and professional man named Mickey stopped to see if I needed help. I explained what I needed and showed him a picture. He immediately knew what I wanted, but at first he couldn't find it either. As I was leaving the store he called to me. He had to get a ladder and get it down for me. I was delighted. I was careful, but somehow the light got cracked. I can't find my receipt, but I plan to go back and get another light for the lamp. I truly appreciated the time and effort he put in to make me a very satisfied customer. Great Home Depot at Signal Hill, California!

Don't use the paint department here. Went in for a color match. It did not match at all. Even the gloss was wrong. Painter put a coat up and when it dried it was still off. Home Depot doesn't refund for a bad match. And of course. Once I went to Lowes and got paint that matched I had to pay the painter again. Zero accountability for HD. More out of pocket costs for me.

Never has what I need, their brands have a monopoly in the store, their workers never know where anything is. So many wasted trips to this place. I'm never coming back.

Never had a problem and Employees were wearing masks . Now with these days of uncertainty I'm just glad people are still working tho I'd hate for them to get sick if people without knowing they'd come in contact with Covid come in just to keep busy on some home project. Be safe and wear your masks everyone!! Very 1st place I found a indoor plant which I love and still have it, always come back looking for more.

TRUST THE REVIEWS! They WILL mess up your order. I ordered something for our remodel, and it shopped in 3 separate boxes. I was warned they will call me when only 1 arrived, and to make sure all 3 arrive. 3 weeks later they called when only 1 arrived. 2 days later the app said everything arrived so I called. I explained to them why I wanted them to be POSITIVE all 3 pieces were there. I sat on hold for 15 minutes while they "went to the back and confirmed all 3 pieces are here". They even mentioned what each piece was to confirm. I showed up 3 days later, they can't find the 3rd piece that's the most important. They told me I can wait 3 days while they escalate to the manufacturer, but no idea what they'll say after their "investigation". My other option is to cancel and order again, waiting 3-4 weeks for delivery. My contractor was supposed to finish our bathroom remodel tomorrow. Now we will have to go 3-4 weeks without our shower (only one in our house) and pay the contractor to come out again in a few weeks IF the parts ever show up. At the end the Mgr said she could ask the company that makes the products for a discount...once it arrives. So now we've had to pay 2x the price (have to wait for processing to get refund), we will have to wait almost 2 months, and they'll "ask" for some discount, even though Home Depot is clearly the one who lost it. Trying to find an alternative so we can cancel everything, but our remodel literally was built out based on the measurements of this, so unless we want to remodel all the newly remodeled stuff, we are SOL and have to just hope Home Depot doesn't screw up again.

The service is so incredibly bad here I started to go to LOWES for the items I needed . There was a time , when HD paid their employees well , but now it is very much a different story . They resent if you ask one of their department employees a question , like you a bothering them . This is the fault of management . There is a unprofessional , under privileged management team here and it is reflected in the service .

Used to love shopping at this particular store; however I noticed that their employees now seem miserable and upset. They avoid eye contact with the customers. They don't greet you and most of them seem annoyed if you ask a simple question. If they do help you, it feels like they are doing you a favor. My advice is: remember that not everybody that shops there is an expert on your goods. Some of us are new home owners that need help picking up basic things. I had a better experience driving up to Lowe's where the staff seemed friendlier. One guy there was new at the job, but made a point to call someone else to help me out as he himself got educated on the subject matter! Home Depot has potential to get better, to be at top of their game. Please change or you'll end up loosing more customers! Bless you

Oder pickup is ridiculously slow. Also they seem to not enforce masks as I have seen multiple people walk in the store without any mask despite their being a man official mask mandate. Seems quite disorganized. Also, while the email said that the order was ready for pickup it seemed like it really wasn't meaning long waiting. That kind of defeats the purpose of the pickup.

Absolutely horrible service. I mean come on, look at the ratings here at 3.5. I've been going here because of convenient location, but I will never go here again due to recent terrible experiences. I have always had poor service experiences here, but The final straw was I order online for curbside pickup. I informed through the app I was On the way several minutes in advance. After I arrived, I waited for nearly 15 mins and still nobody came out. I also recognized another guy parked next to me had gone in several minutes before me. When I went inside, there were five agents behind the counter and I was quickly acknowledged by one. I complained about waiting so long and she looking at her computer and said.... "Oh, we'll we're just just". Snotty snarky young lady with short hair. What a crock of crap!! She then went and got my items and just passed them to me. No apology nor offer to help to my car. I highly recommend anyone reading this review to not go to Home Depot. Your hard earned money does not deserve to go to this horrible place. There's a Lowe's not far away and they're much better.
