This dealership is dishonest and disrespectful to their prospective customer(s). They falsely advertised an Advantage Care package for 3 oil changes plus tire rotation at $150, then discounted $20 more in Black Friday 2023 for final total of $130 that is applicable to any car brought in between Nov-20 to Nov-25-2023.I called their Service Department to confirm if this deal would work for any car (mine is a Subaru) and their Service Department said YES - BRING THE SUBARU IN FOR THE ADVANTAGE CARE CONTRACT on the phone. I even asked if they can use 0-16W oil and the rep said they can & 0-16W oil is no problem for them. Convinced by the good deal, I scheduled an appointment at 3:30 Black Friday for the first oil change. I even cancelled several other appointments to have enough time for this.Appointment time came, I drove to Honda Long Beach 15 minutes early. I told them I have an Advantage Care oil change appointment at 3:30. Even cleaned out my car, had the key and wheel lock ready for them. Several staffs came out greeted me and told me to wait for somebody to come and help. I waited for 20 minutes. Then a Service Sales rep came out, checked a few things for 1 minute, then tell me that THEY ONLY SERVICE HONDA AND THEIR SPECIAL OFFER ONLY APPLY TO THE CARS THEY SOLD!I asked the rep their Service Dept told me differently on the phone and they should have just told me that they can't offer Advantage Care for my Subaru instead of said yes/ made an appointment for me. I wasted my time driving to Honda Long Beach and waiting. Even cancelled other things to make time for the appointment. Not a single word of apologizing and gave me an attitude, looked at me like a fool, threw my keys on the dashboard and told me to come to the Subaru dealer down the street. Of course I know Subaru dealers will service my Subaru. Why did I bring my car to their place instead of a Subaru dealer? Because they promised they can service my car, offered a better deal, and schedule an appointment quickly. Then they throw everything they confirmed previously out of the window. Do they think I am an idiot? Is it Black Friday or April Fool with them?I will not trust a single word this dealership says. From this bad experience, I will never ever do any business with Honda Long Beach or anything within the Ken Garff network - be it car sales or service. I also owned Acura & many of my relatives own Honda vehicles, but I will make sure we will never bring any car to Honda Long Beach and the Ken Garff Automotive Group affiliates. The worst customer service I have seen for any car dealership!

Prince (Amir) was awesome! He was able to get us a great deal for our second Honda, in and out quickly. Glad we came to the Long Beach Honda!

Hate to be a Karen but I’m mad. Took my car in for inspection of the battery system and brakes. Service advisor said 1-2 hours max. 2 hours come by and ask the status and they claim it’s being inspected as we spoke. Another hour goes by and I was annoyed so I went and see that my car hadn’t even been started yet. Mind you, all it needed was an INSPECTION. I told them to bring my car back up and to forget it, 15 minutes later they forget to bring my car up. I understand they get busy, but this is just pure carelessness. I’m not so much mad that it wasn’t done, I’m mad that, they claimed it was being worked on, and 3 hours later nothing was complete, then they forget to call my car up

Do not bring your car here, they provide terrible service and upcharge for repairs that do not need to be made. I brought my car here, then I brought it to an independent shop and they said the repairs that Long Beach Honda came up with were no needed at all, saved me over $3000 in repairs. This place is all about taking advantage of people who don't know much about cars, and that's a terrible business model. On top of that, I had scheduled the service appointment and even arrived early, and it still took them 30 minutes to take my car. Save yourself the headache and do not bring your Honda here.Edit: if I could give this place lower than 1 star I would, I sent an email to the GM a week and a half ago, and absolutely no response has been received.

Had originally had a decent experience earlier this year as I worked with Isabel. She was great and answered all of our questions, unfortunately we had to pause our search but were excited to resume this month. I messaged Isabel to get the ball rolling again with the same model we had test driven before. We had gotten loan approval through our credit union and were ready to go in and buy. Isabel was not available so we were paired with another salesperson. Truly the worst experience. We were handed off to the first sales person on the floor (now the third person to work with us) who advised us the HRV EXL we were told was available and on the lot was actually in transit. We had only come in because we were assured the vehicle was on the lot and our TrueCar price offer would be honored. Instead our salesperson tried to push a CPO instead and continued to bring that vehicle up after we repeatedly said no. We were met with combativeness and misogynistic comments from one of their financial supervisors. He seemed very angry and exhausted after losing a sale that was taking place a few minutes prior to us working with him. Any questions we had, he answered with an insult and a rude tone.Such a poor experience, next time you're in search of a Honda visit their sister location in Carson. Total opposite experience, you won't regret going a few miles up the 405.

Quite possibly the worst car experience of my life. STAY AWAY.I purchased my car from LB Honda on September 9th and had multiple issues with the car the following week. After a week in the service department I was told everything was fixed and I could come get my car. I made the long drive (I live over an hour away) to get the car and to my disappointment, not only was the rattle still there, but my car had noticeable damage to the front bumper that was not there previously. So once again, I had to leave my car and hope that it would be fixed when I came back the following weekend. On September 29th I received my car back and unfortunately it still had all of the same issues. Upon taking it to a local dealer, they noted how the brakes were far below minimum standard and needed to be replaced immediately. Even more scary is the fact that Long Beach gave me the car back in this condition, saying "It is safe to drive and the brakes just needed to be cleaned." This is very worrying as the car is not safe to drive and could experience brake failure at any moment.I would also like to mention how it is nearly impossible to get someone from the service department on the phone or to call me back. Anytime I would call, the phone would ring endlessly and eventually take me right back to the main menu. The service advisors all seemed to be on different pages, not knowing what my car was in for, the actual status of it, and if it was fixed.Considering I was told this is a CPO vehicle, I am disappointed that LB Honda would think this is safe to drive and would even sell the vehicle to me to start with. Fast forward to last week and LB Honda refused to take any responsibility and fix the problems, instead they offered to buy the car back. Although I appreciated and took them up on the offer to buy back the car, the experience when I came in to do so was by far the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE interaction I have EVER dealt with.Nader, the sales manager, was beyond rude and even went so far as to call me cheap for not buying a brand new car. Never have I had a car salesman call me cheap because of my decision to buy one car over the other. Ultimately, the joke was on him as I went to another dealer and bought the brand new version of the same car.I am not sure how this place is still in business especially with such disrespectful, dishonest, and downright shady employees like Nader. Do NOT shop here, I urge you to try literally any other Honda dealer and stay far away from this dump.

They would call me five minutes before closing and tell me they needed authorization to order a part, I would call back and couldn’t get ahold of the technician for over two days. Finally got a hold of someone who said the manager would call me and that call never came after a week of having my car. I ask for pricing on a new windshield but I wasn’t able to get a price ever. When I went to pick up my car they couldn’t find the paperwork or keys for over an hour. The original issue I brought the car in for wasn’t fixed because of a back ordered part, which they charged me for the labor already without preforming the work.I was told my technician will be calling to go over everything later in that day , I haven’t heard from them after many days..I wouldn’t recommend to anyone going there.

I really don't like it when dealerships have ADM on cars, an put on "options" which are paint and fabric protection, lojack, and ceramic coating which add up to thousands.I went to look at a vehicle at L9ng Beach Hinda. The price listed was about $44,000, but with their fees it ended up being $10,000 more. The salesperson was fine. But the finance manager, not so. He was like a smart Alec when I mentioned certain things. The vehicle was a 2022, with about 10,000 miles on it. A new one can be had for less.I've purchased several vehicles. You think that a dealership would try to be more customer friendly to win over a customer.

I came to Long Beach honda to buy a used a car. My experience was terrible because the salesman contantly lied to and tried to overprice/play me. I came with a check for $41,000 to by a 2018 Ford Focus RS. The bying pricing for the car was $39,950.00 but the dealer wanted $47,000 with taxes/tags and upgrades out the door. He quoted me at $4,000 for taxes. The California vehicle taxes is 7.5 so taxes should have been $2,996.25. Honda was adding in a GPS, door dent protectors, and wheel locks and added a additional $2,500.00 to the asking price. I told the dealing they don't need to add those since I live on a military base I'm not concerned with the car getting stolen. The dealer also told me he would have to give me a contract to take to my bank to buy the car because navyfed wouldn't write a check. I came there with a CHECK from navyfed to by the car. In the end the car salesman tried to get me to buy the car for $45,000 that is $2,000 more than the total price of the car plus taxes.

This place sucks so bad not once but twice. Bf ordered window here to install himself. When the part came they didn't notify him. we called here to see if an engine battery was in stock before going down there. They said yes over the phone but when we got there 20 minutes later it was not in stock, and the guy left my bf hanging, frazzled. I was in the car so I didn't get a chance to get the name of the numb nut responsible but they just sound all around disorganized.Ended up having to drive to Huntington Beach Honda because their reps actually take the extra 2 seconds to check the floor to make sure the item is in stock before we waste time driving there and are left hanging.9/15/23 - Per comment below from Customer Service, I just emailed the GM. If this review is not updated, that means the issue has not been resolved to my satisfaction and/or he did not respond to rectify the grievance. When a car is under warranty on a battery change and your shop cannot do it same day, customer should not be held responsible for the charges on the $175 for getting the part and having to do the work themselves.
