I came in because our car had engine troubles. Brian Keelan was our service advisor for the process to have our engine replaced because of a recall. He was super helpful and very informative all throughout the process.

Had my car towed there because it wouldn’t start, there was corrosion on the battery. I had a 16,000 mi service scheduled for the following day. So I brought it a day early so they had time to work on the battery issue as well. First question was “where did you buy your car” when I said Van Nuys, the second question was “why didn’t you bring it there?” Last time I checked you don’t have to bring your car back to where you purchased it for service or warranty issues. The service manager is a real piece of work and needs to be retrained on how service works. His lack of respect for the customer shines bright. He is argumentative and told me multiple times to bring it back to where u bought it. He said the service technician couldn’t recreate the issue with my battery and told me my case was closed and to pick up my vehicle. Only to get there and my 16,000 mi service had not been completed. I asked to look at the battery together, of which you can clearly see something had been sprayed all over my battery terminals. They said they don’t have any anti corrosive spray on site so it must have been sprayed from the other dealership at my last service. Thankfully I took pictures before I brought it in. You can clearly see the corrosion and the spray that was done at the dealership. Would not recommend this dealership or their service. They lie and make more problems for you.

Second time purchasing a Kia. First time I had a horrible experience with another dealer ship. Decided to give this one a try. I went with my parents for their help: What a great experience! From picking out the car to sitting and talking numbers. I never felt pressured or felt like they were upset by our negotiations. We laughed as we went back and forth. They were all so polite. Offered water and popcorn. It didn’t feel like a transaction but more like a conversation. I got a great deal and best of all I left happy with their customer service. I really recommend you check them out!

I have made at least two attempts to contact Mr Thoma and unfortunately, while he wanted me to contact him directly as stated online, he has NOT bother to respond my attempts to communicate to him to help resolve the issue.

Called in advance asking if they dealt with negative equity trade ins. Was told yes. Once we got in the ran my credit then told me I needed $18,000 down payment for a $27,000 car. Will tell everyone I know not to buy a car from here Juan was our rep. I will be going up the latter.

Went to Kia a couple days ago, the sales guys that helped me didn’t really seem to happy to help, not even pushing to get a sale, but then I came again tonight and Noah was well informed. Super nice! Didn’t want to give me number, since there were about to close, but over all, super knowledgeable. But what we’ve talked about… They’re definitely not open to negotiations, they really want the money there. Which is understandable, and they don’t match other dealerships too. But Hey, if you go, go see NOAH!

I have been going here for years, and for years they have continually have declined in their service department. Today was the final straw and I will never bring my cars there ever again. My daughters kia died on the side of the road and made arrangements to have it towed to their business to have it worked on. They refused to even accept our car because we didn't have an appointment and would have the tow truck take it back to the side of the road it was stranded on. The worst customer service to someone who has used their services over 100 times. I was a loyal customer but now will be loyal to another Kia Dealer.

I was in the market for a new Kia. I spoke to Juan over the phone regarding the online pricing of a vehicle. I was appalled at the customer service. I asked Juan why I was quoted $5k over the price posted on their website. Juan told me "we're a dealership and we can do that!" and "You should just go to someplace that is by your house". Having said that, Simi Valley Kia will not be getting my business and I will make sure everyone I know hears about this incident.

I went there to get answers to an oil pressure warning light. I had just had the oil changed at jiffy lube, after I drove seven miles to get there. I got a call from them and and was told that my oil was low and very dark and dirty. When confronted with the news that I had just had the oil changed I was told that the mechanic deals with lots of cars so he must have made an honest mistake. You be the judge! Also a year ago, last July. We took my wife's car in to have the air conditioning. Looked at it would blow hot air on hot days when she stopped at a stop light. They charged us $200. Said it was fixed and it was running perfectly. As soon as she left, it started. Blowing hot air at the stoplight. I honestly didn't know what ago I took it to air conditioning specialist in kenoga park across the 160 dollars, and he charged it to specifications, and now it's running. Great, so how competent are these people? Dishonest and incompent don't go there.

Last week I took my Kia to get car recall fixed. Made an appointment at Kia dealership in Simi, but when I got there, the gentleman man who initially helped asked me if I leased the car here and when I said No, he immediately said that I should take it to where I leased the car from. When I said that I have an appointment, he got upset and asked me to wait. Inspite of having an appointment, I had to wait over 1 hr to get him come back to me. He was very rude and kept mumbling that we shouldn't be here and that's when I got upset and requested someone else to help me. Kia is known for its superior service but that wasn't the case here. Employees represent the brand and are the face of the brand. If they treat customers differently based on where the car was leased/ purchased then it's just wrong. I reached out to the manager of the service dept, but hasn't gotten any response yet. I plan to write to the CEO to get his attention to this negative experience just so someone else wouldn't have similar experience and be discriminated just because we didn't lease from this particular dealership. Regardless, where the vehicle is leased/purchased, Kia should help fix their manufacturing defects. When I asked for this gentleman's name, other employees just apologized to me and didn't share his name.

The worst experience I've had while shopping for a car. I walked in looking for a new Kia Telluride for my wife. They had 1 in stock but was 10 ft in the air having a tow hitch installed. The sales rep was nice, but when I walked back into the showroom to discuss a trade in the desk manager was aggressive and trying to play "old school" car salesman on me. When I asked him about my trade in (2017 Pacifica) he wouldn't give me a number, asked me if I was dreaming, and then handed my key back to me before putting his hand on my shoulder and gesturing me towards the door. I let him know that his service was garbage and I wouldn't be considering a Kia from first any longer. Considering nobody was on the lot, and you were standing around doing nothing, you would think they would want a sale. Oh well.

Horrible experience. Very bad customer service. Acted like I was there wasting their time. Very short somewhat rude exchange of words hinting either buy or go away. Don't recommend. Stinks of used car salesmen approach as it should I guess. We all want to make money but not like this. Thank you

My parents have purchased from this dealership twice before in the last three years. My overall experience yesterday was great. I was there to purchase a new car for my daughter. From the sales person through financing- transparency, efficiency, friendliness, and overall time it took, it was a very pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this dealership and will be back again in the near future to purchase a new car for my son. Thank you First Kia Simi Valley!

Well when I bought my car brand new in 2020 I wasn’t sold with many choices. I went back the other day for service and only saw 15 cars for sale. I wondered why and then I got the report from the service department. They put 2 nails in my tire and tried to sell me triple the price for the tires. Glad I have Sam’s club. Also I told them about my tire pressure system not correct but instead of them checking that they pop up I need a new battery. I made a mistake buying from them but I only make mistakes once. I will help others though- do not go there for anything.

STAY AWAY FROM KIA, SPECIALLY FIRST KIA OF SIMI VALLEY.Go buy yourself a reliable car like Toyota. The will sell you lemon car and they treat like garbage when you go to fix it. One minute they tell you there is an engine issue and an hour later they bully you and tell you nothing is wrong with the car. I brought the car 3 times for the same issue. The car shakes when I take off. Never got anywhere with my warranty. Problem still there years later.Gregory V Thomas is very rude and unprofessional.Save yourself a headache and DONT BUY A KIA. Their warranty is garbage. They don't take responsibility for the cgarbagr they sold you.
