Courtyard Ventura Simi Valley is a decent hotel with a clean, recently renovated interior and a nice building design. Its location is convenient, close to restaurants and a Walmart nearby. The staff is friendly, professional, and helpful, often going out of their way to assist guests and provide local information. Guests generally appreciated the welcoming attitude and courteous service. However, some aspects of the stay were less positive. Housekeeping entered rooms early in the morning, which was disruptive, and there were issues with noise from the air conditioning, refrigerator, and slamming doors. The rooms lacked breakfast options, and the carpet appeared old and not very clean. Guests noted that the hotel does not offer breakfast, but nearby options are available. Overall, the hotel offers a safe and comfortable stay with friendly staff, though it could benefit from further refurbishments and better soundproofing. Many guests felt satisfied and would recommend it.
Would have been a perfect stay if not for the doors slamming for the entire stay. I was on the first floor, not sure if upper floors have the same issue.
