In town visiting family. Everything you need including large outdoor turf and lifting area. This club also has childcare, both staff were great with son. The gym staff are very friendly and helpful. Thank you Thomas and staff!

Signed up for two memberships for myself and my fiancé. The sales person will promise you anything just to get your commitment. Promised that I will be able to attend all other clubs, including the signature club in West Hollywood. And promised that this would be a month-to-month contract and I would be able to cancel it anytime I want. When we came to the West Hollywood signature location, they laughed at us, tell him that they have nothing to do with the rest of crunch gyms. When I showed up to ask to cancel my membership, they started to point that I cannot cancel it before the year I pay penalty. The way they speak to the customers, one star is not low enough if you asked to write this.

One of the few gyms to offer childcare so that’s a plus. The culture is good not too high strung and not too much planet fitness vibes. It’s got a lot to do equipment wise (including outdoor field and weights) and the staff seems to be helpful for the most part. They don’t pressure too much about anything and overall it’s an affordable solid choice for families or solo gym goers.

Poor Membership practices and racial discrimination. My experience at Crunch Simi Valley was nothing short of a nightmare. The personal training sessions were not only subpar but also uncomfortable. To make matters worse, I faced racial discrimination during my time at the gym, which led me to stop attending sessions altogether. To date, they still have my money and won't issue a refund given my experience.Beyond the appalling treatment I endured, potential members should also be wary of Crunch Simi Valley's financial practices. The gym has a distressing tendency to mishandle membership fees, often charging incorrectly and failing to honor refund policies. It's evident that the gym is in dire financial straits, resorting to aggressive tactics to coerce people into signing up for advance payments. However, these promises are hollow, and refunds are rarely issued due to the gym's financial woes.In light of my unpleasant experiences and the concerning business practices at Crunch Simi Valley, I strongly advise individuals to save their money and seek fitness alternatives elsewhere. It's clear that this establishment prioritizes profits over the well-being and satisfaction of its members.

Loved my personal trainer here, just hate the over priced contracts and crowded gym aspects of this place. Plus after I canceled IN PERSON THEY CONTINUED TO CHARGE MY CARD FOR A YEAR !!!!Finally had to contact of my credit card company and say stop letting them charge me.I literally ended my services with them over a year ago and so they opened an investigation and I finally got all my money back.Funny part, is I got a text message today from Crunch Fitness telling me my payment didn't go through. .DUH.I canceled in person a year ago stop stealing my money.I don't go to your stupid smelly gym anymore. I jumped through all your ridiculous cancelation hoops and you still kept charging my card.So wrong.DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Be careful with this gym when your contract ends, even if tomorrow they take out of your account the renewal and monthly payment of the membership they make you leave to continue with them, they are some deals, what a bad experience with these shady deals

Staff is friendly and outgoing.Weights are well organized for the most part as they have a reset period.Wide variety of weights and machines that are well organized in their respective sections. The organization is organic and intuitive making it easy to focus on certain muscle groups.Gym community is friendlier in this area.Lockeroom is clean for the most part, but sauna is sort of gross as the pipes get clogged every now and them.Sauna is small and gets really hot which is perfect. Some have complained about it getting too packed and want a bigger one, but it'll most likely only make it colder.

Be careful with their promotions. They always lie and charge you more money. The manager doesn't help at all. I paid for three months but only got two. They refused to return my money or let me use another month. The reason why I left the gym is that their pool is always dirty. the showers are disgusting. I don’t know what they use to treat the pool, but the skin becomes dry.

Very unprofessional management, the place is crowded and when I had an argument with another member, and they saw what happened when he hit my hand and threw my phone away, they said they will fix the problem and someone will call me day after to tell me what they will do with that aggressive person, no one called and 3 days after they told me they only gave him warning. lol. Shame on them for not taking an action and just giving him warning. Happy not to be part of this gym. And good for them keeping this rude member.

Update: In an attempt to blame me for the error, I was sent a copy of my contract with the note "Freeze on 7/16" which means there was written documentation that was being ignored. Now I have documentation and have attempted to cancel all charges on my credit card. :)I swear to goodness, gyms make things so hard. Crunch Fitness - Simi Valley has been charging me for personal training since I asked for my account to be frozen (I actually asked to cancel then and their response was, "just freeze so you keep the promotional pricing".) I thought I did my due diligence to freeze it and they verbally confirmed it was all good and I wouldn't be charged any more. When I called to ask for a refund today after noticing the charges, I was told I wouldn't be getting one because they couldn't see on their end that it was frozen and I didn't have documentation. The four personal training sessions that I've paid for I have not used because I didn't know I was being charged. It's interesting how I get emails for every class I take there, but have never gotten an email saying I was being billed for anything.Take this for what you will, but if you ever decide to personal train with them and get charged when you weren't expecting to be, just know that you've been warned.

I signed up for a personal trainer, and I mistakenly was misguided regarding the monthly charges. It was my fault and the trainer's fault in a very bad communication moment. I thought when the paper with the information regarding the package said you would be charged $176 with a biweekly rate, and the trainer kept trying to set up the package for meeting twice a week that biweekly meant twice a week. I kept telling him that I could only meet once a week, and that I could only pay the $176 a month (no bimonthly or biweekly mention in this regard). He then set me up to meet him once a week for one hour. I did not know at the time that one session was one half an hour work out. Also, I did not know I would be charged twice a month. My trainer was excellent, and I met for about a month with him. I was charged twice during that time, but I felt like the second charge was for the upcoming month. But then the third biweekly charge on November 2, 2023 came up, and I went in and talked to a staff member at Crunch Fitness. I talked to a trainer who was in charge of helping people sign up for the trainer's and who was also in a management position. He was however not the manager who was in charge of all of the staff. He said I could put in a thirty day notice, and have my end. Trevor, who was also a trainer said I could do a reduced package at about $90 every two weeks. He said that I could only have 1/2 hour of training per week at this rate. I was not happy about this arrangement, but I was good with it as a peaceful resolution to this matter. Then that night I went home and talked with my husband about this matter, and he said to just go in and put in my thirty day notice. I went in on November 3, 2023, and I put in the thirty day notice, and the same personal trainer at the reduced rate of $90. Trevor was very nice, and accommodating, and I was very happy with my personal trainer and the progress I was making. Then on November 16, 2023 again a charge of $176 posted on my banking account. I called Crunch Fitness and talked to the manager over all of the staff during the day. He said that my contract was set for the biweekly charge for this month because I had met with the trainers a few times. He did not honor the thirty day notice. It made no sense, he did not reflect any empathy or understanding of the whole mess. He only stuck by what my contract said. This made me very upset. I told him I was going to dispute the charges with my bank, I was never going to return to Crunch Fitness again, and that Crunch cared more about making money than meeting the needs of their clients. I then ended my call. Then my trainer and my husband thought it would be a good idea to meet with the manager. It was the same manager that I talked with on the phone. I went in today, at around noon. It is 11/17/2023. Again, the manager seemed to be very callous to the fact about what had happened. He was clueless in regards to the facts of my agreement that I had made in regards to the thirty day notice. He did not want to acknowledge that it had been made. He was very dismissive of his ability to do anything about the situation because he was "just an employee." He was very controlling. He wanted to serve up demands for how things were going to be in regards to how I was going to honor the contract. I stood up because I was very upset in regards to his aggressive, male dominance tricks that he was dishing up to me. I do not like it when men get aggressive and place demands on me. Then they expect me to listen to them because they are in charge. This is how he was treating me. It was very demeaning to me. I told him he needed to listen to my demands. I did not threaten him, but he said because I stood up while I was talking to him that it was threatening to him. He said I was yelling at him, but my voice while it might have been loud was not in yelling mode. Believe me if I was going to yell he would of known it. And I did not yell at him. I want to emphasize that I never threatened him or called him any demeaning names, other than tel

Typical gymRaquelball court, heavy lift room, pool, plenty of equipment. Cheap gym price, not super busy. That's nice. Nice outdoor training area
