I stopped by and Niki was there and took the time to look over my rather simple tax return. She confirmed I’d calculated things correctly and didn’t charge me anything, since i was pretty much able to file it myself. I so appreciated her honesty! I’ll definitely go back to her if I need help filing next time.

Nicki is amazing! She did both my and my boyfriend's taxes. We submitted our documents early on line. When we arrived, Nicki had all our tax paperwork prepared! After answering some questions, she updated everything while we were there so we were able to sign and have everything completed. Nicki was so helpful in answering our questions. She has a friendly and helpful attitude. We will be actually looking forward now to the ease in which our taxes can be done in the future. Thanks Nicki!

After deciding to get a new person to handle our taxes, we reached out to Nicki based on a suggestion from a friend. I am so glad we drove in from Northridge. Nicki is the best. She's friendly, knows her stuff, and always has great tips on how to better our returns. Our first visit started late as her last meeting went long & it was a longer than usual appointment as she needed to enter in a ton of information into the system, but the past 2 years have been a breeze. I'd say 30 minutes max. It's been lovely. Our last trip our appointment was scheduled close to my wife's due date & both Nicki & the entire team was super flexible and ready to make an appointment update at a moment's notice. Luckily that wasn't needed, but it was still good to know that they were very understanding and accommodating. We feel completely confident Nicki is doing everything she can to get us the best return possible & giving us nothing but the best advice on our finances. We can't recommend her enough and she is absolutely worth going out of your way for. You won't be disappointed.

I drove all the way from Venice to work with Nicki! I can't rave enough about my experience with her and the team. So kind and welcoming, but most of all, Nicki's knowledge on my taxes and what would be best for me was remarkable. If only I found her years ago, who knows how much money I would have saved. The whole process was less than 30 min. She really takes care of everything and makes it easy for you to understand and even learn a thing or two.

I highly recommend Niki Forest's Accounting and Tax services. My experience with her staff over the phone, and my tax meeting with Niki in person, was very pleasant. Niki and her team are efficient and accurate with getting the job done. Her office looks very professional and it is very inviting. If you have any questions, Niki or her staff get back to you with an answer quickly. Niki is also very fair with her pricing for accounting and tax services. I giver her and her team an A+.

Overall a 100% experience. The office staff was friendly and communicative, Niki herself was kind, intelligent, and finished our taxes in just an hour. Pricing was on point and she probably saved us more than the fee. We highly recommend Niki at Forest Accounting and Tax!

I generally reserve the writing of a review for businesses and people that simply work hard and do a great job. I may have liked a place but I'm not huge on reviewing every little place I happen into. However, I am compelled to write a nice review today. This is the second year I have had my taxes done here and I will continue to return as long as I am living in the vicinity. Niki is not only a seasoned pro but very easy to get along with and fair with her price. Every one that works there has been nothing but nice and accommodating. In search of a great tax pro I have to say this is a great spot and hope you'll find the same. All the best to everyone at Forest Accounting and Tax. See you next year if not before

We found ourselves confused when we received a bill from the IRS. I have used apps or online services for years as our taxes are fairly straightforward. This year was different. I answered the questions on the app and it showed we'd have a refund of $5.8k. Instead, the IRS sent us a bill for $2.8k and we had no refund at all. Upset and very confused we reached out to Niki. I'm SO grateful we did. She walked us through everything. It turned out that the IRS was right as there was much confusion on my part with how I had answered the COVID and child tax credits questions which had inadvertently caused the errors. There is a bright side to this story and that is we met Niki! She is very knowledgeable and thorough in her explanations. I got off the phone feeling so much better. Even though the IRS was right and we weren't getting a refund, at least I understood exactly what happened. I was truly so impressed, that I had to write this review the second I got off the phone. She has a new client in us and I am actually excited about my taxes knowing we are in good hands.

Niki is the absolute best. My fiance and I went in to meet with her about starting our business and all of the licensing and tax setup involved in the whole process (which was quite overwhelming for us) and she walked through everything with us from the difference between sole proprietorship and S corps to the different city bureaus we should talk to and so much more. We met with her at the end of the day when her office was empty and she still took an hour and a half of her time to patiently listen to and advise on a number of intricate family and financial details. She clearly knows what she's doing and has a LOT of experience with all different kinds of businesses and people. She knows the area really well and I would recommend her to anyone looking for a bookeeper/accountant.

This was my first time coming to Forest Accounting and the amount of time and effort Niki put into explaining things to my wife and I was absolutely Incredible. Not only was Niki so very professional, but she was kind, honest, non judgmental (my wife and I are LGBT fam) and she just has a big heart and truly wants to help people. I literally learned more in my hour with Niki than I've ever learned with any other tax professional. 100/100 for my wife and I. She even noticed a mistake from a previous tax filing from a different firm. Incredible to know and have that pointed out and how to fix it. Definitely recommend coming here to get things right!

My husband and I had a great experience with Niki! I found Forest Accounting and Tax on Yelp and decided to make an appointment with Niki. We were not disappointed. Niki was very nice! She ran different numbers for us since it was our first time filing jointly. We didn't know if it would be better to file separately or together. She looked at all possible ways to file and told us which one would be the best for us. I highly recommend Forest Accounting and Tax for your tax needs.

Niki is on top of everything. This is the first tax person I've found that I really felt comfortable and confident with. She got me a much better result in my taxes than I thought I was getting , stayed out in front of the ever changing tax landscape and helped my incorporate. Couldn't have done it without her!
