One of the best BBQ spots in Simi Valley! Love this spot! I usually end up going with the Tri Tip Sandwich (the roll is garlic bread) combo that comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. I got the baked beans and mac & cheese. The meal was absolutely delicious! They have several BBQ sauces here and my favorite is the Whiskey Habanero BBQ. Check this spot out cause it rocks!

This place is hands down one of the best BBQ spots I've ever been to. The meat is not just good; it's unbelievably tender and perfectly grilled. The portions are downright amazing, especially the generous sizes of every meat piled onto the sandwiches. The side dishes, like the chili and potato salad, are a fantastic complement to the BBQ pork ribs. The sauce counter is a real gem - offering a variety that enhances the flavors even more. What's equally impressive is the customer service. No attitude problems here - just good vibes and helpful staff. From the deliciousness of the dishes to the friendly service, this BBQ joint hits all the right notes for a memorable dining experience. It's not just a meal; it's a flavorful journey that leaves you craving more.

I drive all the way from LA to this location for the food. The meats are so well seasoned and grilled right there. I have tried most of their food and have not been disappointed. You can even get there meats to take home a grill for yourself which is amazing.

I used to eat here a lot for lunch I worked close by but haven't been in a few years. I'm glad we decided to go for lunch after spending some time at the park. I ordered the tri tip dip and it is just as good as I remember it. The bread was toasted nicely, plenty of meat in the sandwich and the dip juice really complemented the sandwich. My daughter ordered the hamburger with just ketchup and she ate the whole thing. I had a bite and it was really good. She also ordered the tots which we both enjoyed - crispy and not greasy. Great solid place for a meal. Food comes out pretty quick. Plenty of tables outside to enjoy your meal. There is also a market inside if you need any meat or produce etc.

One of the best specialty markets in Simi Valley. Fresh meats. Great food and a Tri-Tip that will make anyone return. Been shopping there since 2009. As for service. The greatest friendly people I have met. Love the atmosphere.

I recently dined at Simi Green Acres with two business partners, anticipating a delightful post-Christmas dinner featuring the highly acclaimed local BBQ tri-tip joint. Regrettably, our visit was marred by below subpar service, specifically from the individual identified as JC, who handled our order. As a Simi Valley native and a returning customer, I approached the order process with enthusiasm, seeking recommendations for sides to accompany our tri-tip sandwiches. JC's dismissive response and lack of engagement were immediately apparent, setting an unfortunate tone for our experience.Compounding our disappointment, my order was incomplete, missing the macaroni and cheese I had requested. Politely bringing this to JC's attention was met with eye rolls, a condescending tone, and an overall lack of professionalism. This behavior left us bewildered and uncomfortable. To the point where I felt like I needed to apologize for ordering an additional side.Despite our courteousness, the negative demeanor persisted. It became apparent that JC's approach to order fulfillment lacked efficiency and customer-centricity. Rather than addressing the oversight constructively, her response conveyed an unwarranted sense of frustration. Our decision to refrain from further dialogue was driven by a concern for the integrity of our meal (which unfortunately did occur). Subsequent observations of JC's interaction with what appeared to be a management or owner, coupled with a subsequent order receiving a cold and unsatisfactory dish (cold unmelted cheese which we found out when we opened it) which reinforced our disappointment. The (3) of us ended up splitting (2) meals into (3) because of the one that ordered the Tri-tip philly cheese steak was cold, with unmelted cheese and did not want to go back. We definitely did not feel welcomed, JC was clearly being rude, disrespectful, and condescending. No shame. This experience was not reflective of the standards we associate with Simi Green Acres. Our embarrassment and dissatisfaction stem from the uncharacteristically rude, disrespectful, and condescending service we encountered on this occasion. This feedback is intended to be constructive, urging management to reassess internal processes, communication protocols, and training to ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience. Simi Green Acres has earned a reputation for quality food and service, and I trust that this incident can serve as an opportunity for improvement.I sincerely hope that management will consider this feedback earnestly, as it is driven by a desire to see Simi Green Acres continue its tradition of excellence.
