It takes a pretty terrible customer experience for me to take the effort of writing a review, but I was exceptionally frustrated with the services provided at this Quest location on Sycamore. I arrived for my appointment on time, checked into the waiting room, and then selected the option to receive a text message when it was my turn (I chose this option specifically because their waiting room was jam packed with 15+ people in it, and it is flu season so I didn't want to get sick from being in close quarters with somebody else). Their system said to be within 10 minutes of the building, so I went back to my car to wait. 20 minutes later, I received a text message saying it was almost my turn and I should re-enter the office. I immediately walked back upstairs and was in the office within 5 minutes of receiving the text. Then I proceeded to wait another 25 minutes as I watched 10+ people be called in ahead of me, with my name never being called. At this point, it has been 45 minutes past my appointment time, and I had to spend time in the waiting room with sneezing people around me, so I was understandably getting frustrated. Finally, I was able to ask someone who worked there if they had my appointment, but rather than receiving service, they told me I missed my appointment and my name had been called 3 times without me being present. They suggested I leave and come back at a later time. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THIS LOCATION. Terrible service, terrible system, and overall terrible business.

First off, great and friendly staff! The Appointment system makes things so much more streamlined. I have never waited longer than 10 minutes. Get your appointment online, it’s easy! Without an appointment, you’re taking a big gamble, it’s probably not worth your time. You will most likely end up like the one star people, grumpy, unfriendly and rude.2nd- all these 1 star people, from what I’m reading, these are probably some of your most unfriendliest, spoiled, unrealistic people you will ever meet. Hope they you never have to meet! They honestly expect a custom experience, and they even want some kind of preferential service for just them. I came in one time without an appointment, I had a very very long wait, I had the opportunity to wait with these complainers, they are terrible people, so terrible. I feel for the staff who have to deal with multiple people like this EVERY SINGLE DAY. Read the 1 stars…. Judge for yourself… terrible people…3rd- make an appointment and it will be the greatest experience, make sure to be inside the office 10 minutes early to check in.

Staffer couldn't read bw order and wasn't much help to figure out. Explained if paid myself I can appeal to Medicare. DON'T do it!!!!!! Lesson learned with a $300 bill. If staff can't read bw order DO NOT pay. Wait. Be warned!!!! Oh and my Medicare appeal's decline was couldn't read dr's order (even though I included updtd dr's prognosis code from office staff ). I'm using a different lab now through Facey and they are first rate even with several bw orders from this same dr.

I was there 3 times lately and it was most terrible service I got from this particular individual.I don’t know how she could work there ! Because of this individual worker is extremely rude and no personality, I don’t want to even go there no more! She thinks she’s in the military drill sergeant in that office. She sure needs to be training for patients service all the way!!!!

I went for a TB test and blood titers test on 12/4/2023 to get cleared for work. They didn’t do the blood titers test despite saying it was one-and-done. Now I’m receiving mail from my employer stating I need to go back for the titers test. I hate needles, and was hoping they’d get a basic blood test right. When I try to call, I can’t get in touch with a human to ask if they lost my blood sample or what happened.

The site staff closed 25 mins earlier than the publicly posted hours (eg. 12:30p).The last ‘appointment patient’ completed their appt at 12:10p.They refused service to walk-in patients starting at 12:05p, 25 mins before they were scheduled to close.I had been fasting for ~16hrs when they refused to take me, but they also didn’t bother to ask my status.Separately, making online appointments ahead of time through the Quest app is challenging, as the app often does not work properly. I attempted to make an appt several times without success. App kept erroring out.When I requested the contact info for the lab manager, they gave me a card with a number that doesn’t allow any action by the caller.

Was expected to wait hoursto turn in a specimen that required them to literally just grab it from my hand and take it back but hadn't problem taking the 2 seconds to throw it away.Will ensure there is no charge for this service they didn't provide

Just enjoyed a magnificent experience at San Diego location of Galpao Gaucho. The ambiance, the service, the food are all 5 stars ...no exceptions ! Will definitely refer and return for another spectacular experience.

Super rude employees. The way they talk to people is unacceptable. These patients are here because they are unwell and a nice attitude towards them can go a long way. An elderly man said he had a question and they just interrupted him at tell him to hold on. Another lady mentioned that the hand sanitizer was empty in the waiting area and her response was " it's been out for a while ma'am". Unbelievable how unhappy, disrespectful and discourteous the employees are.

Do not recommend this location, or Quest in general. Their new model has taken human interaction out. The checkin and waiting process is awful. Entire waiting room agrees. They were late to open, late to accept the first appointments, and the phlebotomists stood in the hallway chatting while walking were waiting. I will look for another lab. Ridiculous they have reduced staff at the expense of patient care.

My best suggestion is to make an appointment. I made an appointment for today's lab work and was seen right on time and was able to check in by following the link they sent in a text message.

This lab has horrible service, the man at the front was very rude and kept deleting my information and asking for it again. They also kept stabbing me with the blood draw needle and my blood was spraying everywhere. I now have a yellow and purple bruise on the place they drew blood and I feel stinging and pain. Horrible place do not come here.

Made an appointment and checked in on my phone as I was walking in . They cancelled my appointment without even calling my name. There was no one to talk to so I had to wait. When someone finally did come out she was super rude and told me to schedule as a walk in. She told me they called for me 3 times. I disputed it and she shut the door while saying too bad schedule as a walk in.

Set an appointment over the phone for labs for my husband at the Quest on Sycamore Dr. Everything is automated so impossible to speak with anyone. He arrived the next morning, 20 minutes early for a 10:30 appointment and tried to check in. Again, everything automated, check in was a Kiosk so no one to help if you have a question. The Kiosk would not take his information including his confirmation number. He decided to knock on the door and finally got someone to answer. All rude and unprofessional staff! Couldn't find his order but doubt if they even looked it up but instead called me and I had to tell them it was faxed from his doctor's office yesterday. She looked and guess what, she found it! Terrible, terrible staff and it will be the last time he/we will ever go there! Some people need to be fired at that place!!
