This is place is a joke 1st of all they over charger you for a consultation the doctor prescribes medicine for a rash we spend over $300 dollar with them...after 3 days my puppy starting scratching again, I called them back they tell me they will talk to the doctor and ca me back I didn't get a call after 2 days to tell me that I need to bring my puppy back and I have to pay to see the doctor again for the same reason another $100 for a consultation. Unbelievable they lie to you they don't tell the price after you have already seen the doctor.

I brought my cat, Bandit, to this clinic for bladder surgery, trusting them with his care. However, the condition in which Bandit was discharged to me was completely unacceptable. He was suffering from internal bleeding, had not gone to the bathroom after surgery, and several crucial details from his medical records were not provided to me at the time of discharge.
Due to their complete lack of regard for my cat’s well-being and the lack of proper communication, I had to rush Bandit to another hospital for emergency surgery. Tragically, the damage caused by this clinic was too severe, and I lost my beloved pet. To make matters worse, when I tried to contact the clinic to seek additional details and speak with the vet, they blocked my number after just one inquiry. Blocking a number after a single request for information is extremely untrustworthy and unprofessional.
I strongly recommend that no one uses this service. Their lack of care, the state in which they discharged my cat, and their inability to communicate properly are totally unprofessional. Please seek care elsewhere to avoid the heartbreak and pain that I experienced.

Poor service - We have been goiing to this Vets place for years now. Our dog recently had a neck surgery and after a few days, the stitches in the neck came off and there was an open wound. This hapenned at 10 AM. We were petrified and called the office. They told us that the doctor was busy and asked us to go to Emergency elsewhere.
Why were we asked to go to Emergency when the doctor who did the stitches in the first place was in office. It would have been so much easier for the same doctor to fix the problem.
We then went to an Emergency who had to redo the stitches and costed us a fortune. On top of this hassle , our insurance would not cover the redo.
We pleaded with this office , so our dog could be seen by the doctor..just recieved a cold answer that there was no time available !

Responding to Crystal . The place for $55 was amazing :) you and your sorry excuse for a response is weak. You and your place of business was unprofessional over the phone . Thank goodness I didn't have to see any of you horrid people in person. Sad excuse for an animal hospital. My pet was 1 Lb in weight and your office told me they have the medicine for a 20 pound animal and that's the price for my 1 Lb animal!! ... so tell me how you aren't ripping people off ????

I have been taking my adopted dog, Gracie there since the beginning and they have been very nice, professional, and helpful. The only thing I can complain about is the cost of everything. Her special meds are very costly.

Dr. Kang sees both my cats. They are very comfortable with him and have not been with other vets. He and his staff are very friendly and treat my pets with the best care possible. I'm so happy to have found them!

First time I visited yesterday to Rancho Sequoia Veterinary Hospital with my 5 years old golden retriever. He is suffering from pneumonia-like symptoms last 3 months and on the broad spectrum antibiotics since then without any improvements. Other Vets were getting a lot of money from our pocket for the name of mysterious illness in canine. Yesterday, Dr. Kang performed X-ray and discussed the results with me. However, I did not like the results and I cried there. If my previous vet/vets were able to diagnose that disease earlier then my pet did not suffer for that long. Dr. Kang send us to the specialist for the next steps. I want to thankful to Dr. Kang for being very honest and kind. Pets are our life and they can not speak. I suffer with my pet for so long and I don't want anyone else go through the same way the I went. I like Dr. Kang direction and most likely my pet will get the right treatment. Thank you Dr. Kang and his wonderful staff.

Communication issues. When I made an appt specifically to have dog nail trim advising my dog gets very upset and we need to be in the room. I was told yes they could do that. I send my husband and what happened? Of course they did not listen to him and took the dog to back room. We hear yelps and was told she pooped everywhere. All this could have been prevented. I was told for safety for both client and pet could not be done with owner. So it's that hard to take a nail trimmer and do in exam room? Why was that not communicated at time of appointment. They said they need to sedate. So they rather sedate the dog vs going to exam room with owner? For shame.

This vet is a fucking joke! They charged me $473 to tell me that my dog was stressed out, four days after I took her there, she had to be put down. She was very sick, had internal bleeding, all they give a shit about is $$$$, not giving proper care for animals. Wendy the office manager, who seems to spend more time defending this pathetic Vet, and the negative reviews should do her job!! If you want to go to a great vet in Simi Valley, go to American Vet Hospital on Tapo Street, Dr. Ekladios is amazing and his staff really cares about taking care of your animal.

Maybe my review is not relevant. But the person who is reading this should do a lot of searching before taking his/her pet to this vet business. I was a client of this BUSINESS for several years and I believed that taking my pet to the same place could be the best because I would have the confidence that they had all my pet's records. A couple of times I ignored the fact that their main vet Dr. Kang was rude to me over the phone and in person, and made me feel a couple of times like I was withholding information or like I wasn't taking care of my pet (in first place if a pet owner is taking his pet for wellness check ups since puppy, I don't think is because you don't care) and sometime one were almost always left feeling like his business $$comes first then his ethics . Now, that I have lost my pet, I wonder if they really did the tests. What was wrong? Because sometimes I had to call his office twice to ask for the test results and those who answered seemed like they didn't know what I was talking about. During those years I saw an employee parade. It's like they are always in an eternal training. My pet's health deteriorated a couple of months after the last checkup and I was surprised that there was nothing more to do at an emergency hospital. Where a specialist came out to talk and explained me the true situation of my dog. And I asked but how so? What was wrong? if my dog was always healthy, they did several wellness checkups that the doctor "recommended" and supposedly everything was fine. How so? Didn't they realize that he had an underlying illness? The specialist told me: probably no, general practice doctors doesn't know.... I wanted to call his office and complained about his practice but that's not going to get my dog back. My dog is gone. However, now that I am somewhat recovered from the loss of my dog, I want others to know my experience and take precautions.

Honestly please read reviews before you make appointment here.. worst experience I don't recommend you bringing your pets here to get spayed. They scam you on prices you trust them with your pets and leave them thinking they are in good hands. I got both of my dogs spayed here and both almost lost their life's. He didn't stitch them up right and both times my dogs stitches opened up ended up with horrible experience literally almost loose their lives. On Monday the 11 I toke my princess get spayed paid $943 and Wednesday experience bad pain she wouldn't stop crying I knew something was wrong to wake up Thursday morning with my dogs stitches opening up. She was in her crate all those days follow with what the vet says there was no way it was on our end. Desperately taking her back in to vet for help thinking he was going to help me with no charge was not our fault ended up paying that day for another surgery visit for amount of $850. I take her home that day with sedation medication no pain medication. Wake up Friday morning with my dog's wound bleeding. I didn't feel safe going back to him. I toke her to my own vet get a second opinion. She said my dog shouldn't be bleeding after a spayed and recommended go back to Dr Kan get a second look at her wound. Sure enough his staff amused the worst blaming me on her injury and acting like I don't take care of my pets. Very upsetting situation my dogs are my life take care of them more than myself. The fact the staff had nerves to amuse that after them putting me through this so sad. I asked please take a look at my dog I hope they don't charge me doing to all the circumstances I've been thru. I asked if it doesn't stop or get better I wanted my refund. They obviously ignore me on that. They toke my pet out of my hands to check her wound said they will give me a call when to get her. Will sure enough they called me but with a quote for $200 just change her bandage and for office visit. Oh they also said seen I've been thru a lot they will watch my dog for free to keep her for afternoon. I was very upset I told them I just want my dog back. Picked her up toke her to my vet so nice they helped me bandage her up for free and cleaned her wounds. Can you believe that the vet her in rancho sequoia couldn't even fix his own mistake but to take money from me and didn't even care how my dog was doing. Let me tell you I still had to take her one more time to another get her check she won't stop shaking they told me she must have a lot trauma. I honestly would never never never come back here. I sure hope they call me to apologize because we been through a lot with them on this experience. Never done a review I don't like to do this to business but I have to speak up on my dog and my family. Hopefully this dosent happen to anyone else.

If I could leave a Zero star I would! Worst serviceThey have lack of professionalism, lack of compassion for your pets and it only seemed to be driven by the moneyI took my cat in for a visit, my cat had been exposed to ringworm and feline leukemia for a week. The doctor wanted to take a test of the feline Leukemia knowing the incubation period is 30 days, so he could charge me twice. I asked to wait on the test and check him for ring worms, he didn’t even touch my cat and said no he’s good and left!!! They told me pay for the consultation and in 30 days bring him back we will just get the sample you won’t pay for the consultation again. At checkout I wanted to schedule the appointment and they told me we don’t have any openings, I’ll call you during the week. Never received a call, I called 1 and a half month later because I wanted to get an appointment and they won’t take my cat in. I just noticed my cat has a ring worm as well.They won’t take my cat, won’t give me a refund for the consultation to which I paid to only who see the doctors face
