I have been taking my adopted dog, Gracie there since the beginning and they have been very nice, professional, and helpful. The only thing I can complain about is the cost of everything. Her special meds are very costly.

If I could leave a Zero star I would! Worst serviceThey have lack of professionalism, lack of compassion for your pets and it only seemed to be driven by the moneyI took my cat in for a visit, my cat had been exposed to ringworm and feline leukemia for a week. The doctor wanted to take a test of the feline Leukemia knowing the incubation period is 30 days, so he could charge me twice. I asked to wait on the test and check him for ring worms, he didn’t even touch my cat and said no he’s good and left!!! They told me pay for the consultation and in 30 days bring him back we will just get the sample you won’t pay for the consultation again. At checkout I wanted to schedule the appointment and they told me we don’t have any openings, I’ll call you during the week. Never received a call, I called 1 and a half month later because I wanted to get an appointment and they won’t take my cat in. I just noticed my cat has a ring worm as well. They won’t take my cat, won’t give me a refund for the consultation to which I paid to only who see the doctors face

Dr. Kang has taken care of our 13 year old cat his whole life. Our cat, Zeus, is our world. He is my baby. He is my son. He is my sun, my moon, my stars. I would travel anywhere to ensure my cat has the best medical care. I believe Dr. Kang is the best. He’s incredibly thorough, compassionate, and skilled. Zeus had bladder crystals when he was a baby, and Dr. Kang provided excellent care for this serious issue. The exceptional care has continued through Zeus’s entire life through inflammatory bowel disease, food aversion, pancreatitis, and more! He’s a diva cat.Zeus was just diagnosed by Dr. Kang with hyperthyroidism. Dr. Kang called me personally to go over his labs and explain what he felt was the best treatment course. He got Zeus liquid meds immediately since he knows Zeus doesn’t tolerate pills.Dr. Kang remembers everything about Zeus and my family. He’s truly warm and wonderful and funny. He comforts me when I freak out about something going wrong with my baby. The office staff is always so warm and friendly. Questions are answered quickly and calls returned promptly.I love working with Dr. Kang and would recommend his office to anyone! He’s helped my baby feel his best for his entire life!

This office seemed good at first, but after finding out I need to make an appointment every time I need to refill my dog's arthritis medication, I realized quickly money was more important than my dog's health. I took my dog in for x-rays in April of this year, I was told she had arthritis. The vet prescribed the medication needed, and my dog had huge improvement. In the last few weeks she has been limping again in the same leg which is clearly the same issue. I called to get a refill and was told too much time had passed and she needs to come in to be seen. For non-controlled substances per California Code of Regulations, Title 16, Section 2032.1, it states that a veterinarian may not issue a prescription for a duration longer than one year from the date that the animal was last seen. For controlled substances according to the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), prescriptions for all controlled substances (Schedules II–V) are valid for six months from the date written. I do not believe the medication is a controlled substance, however even if it was it has been less than six months. This office is not following CCR guidelines and is trying to steal money from pet owners by requiring them to make another appointment and charging them to be seen. I paid around $800.00 for x-rays and she has been seen at this office 2-3 times. Arthritis is a CHRONIC condition, and this was determined to be the cause of my dog's limp per the x-rays. There is no confusion on where the issue is coming from. Shame on this company for trying to scam people out of their money. Read the yelp reviews! I warn anyone to stay away from this office.

My 2 year old tortoise had an upper respiratory infection and after 3 weeks of intramuscular antibiotics twice a week, she has fully recovered. The front desk staff is superb. They have convenient hours and we’re able to squeeze me in the same day. Prices are reasonable.

They could give a -100 star review, I would. DO NOT GO HERE FOR ANYTHING SERIOUS! My Pomeranian had a surgery done by the main doctor and she died less than 12 hours later because he had no idea what he was doing and put her back together wrong. BTW, she was getting spayed and had a hernia removed. He did not take any responsibility and still took our $3000. It caused a lot of trauma for my family.

* ** PET OWNERS BEWARE *** My dog was misdiagnosed by this practice and is now deceased. I had left several messages with staff who assured me the doctor would call me back to discuss my concerns (after an examination and diagnostic testing was done) and, of course, never called me.....Wendy P. (manager) also doesn't return calls(but it does look like she responds to Yelp reviews). After doing my own research and possible diagnosis (I am not a professional in the veterinary world), I was able to find a qualified doctor for treatment, but it was too late to save her....with a treatable diagnosis that has a 80% survival rate if caught in time. NO professionalism or ability to take responsibility. Maybe this will getWendy or the doctor to finally return my call.........

Dr. Kang is the best and the staff her is wonderful. Two weeks ago I took my two Nebelung cats in for their annual exam. Most doctors comment on my large kitty's weight (19 pounds), but Dr. Kang recognized that Sasha is a large breed with large bone structure and is a very healthy boy. My boy Mishka has urinary issues and Dr. Kang was so gentle with him.Today I brought the dogs in and he caught Coco's (Chihuahua) heart murmur and enlarged heart after an xray. She has heart failure, but he said we caught it soon enough for treatment and she will have a better quality of life now. Indy my Shih Tzu needs dental work which is common for the breed or dogs with an under bight. I highly recommend Dr. Kang and his staff for all your veterinary needs.

Woke up midday to find one of my bunnies seemed to have labored breathing and wasn’t acting right, I freaked out, didn’t brush my hair or wash my face, just drove here, (Didn’t want to waste time driving to Conejo Valley) I called as we arrived and walked in- by then, I realized I may have overreacted somewhat, receptionist welcomed us nonetheless and gave me the necesssary paperwork, afterward, i was seated in a room quickly- vet tech asked about Honey’s issues and I saw Dr Kang almost immediately- after a quick but thorough exam- he explained that Honey had a slight upper respiratory infection and pointed out the subtle signs he had looked for as well as what I interpreted as labored breathing, and suggested a round of antibiotics- I felt welcomed, and well informed/educated, charged a reasonable fee and left with the necessary medication and I am happy to report that Honey is back to normal 24 hours later. I appreciate the professionalism and kindness I was shown, thank you for fitting us in in spite of what I can only assume was a normal, full, schedule! Will be scheduling appointments for my other fur-babies annual check ups! Happy to find Dr Kang! And a thrilled to have a great LOCAL vet!

This place is the worst of the worst. The doctor has no clue what he's doing, only recommends "expensive test" to line his pockets. Please, if you love your pet, do NOT go here. They will lead you on a wild goose chase instead of actually diagnosing or helping your animal. Also, they refuse to transfer medical records in order to trap you there, which is illegal. I've already reported this establishment to multiple agencies.- Edit: The business claims first that I am not not in their system. Imagine being a member of a family that are clients but not being the name on the documents. In regards to the 'degrees', any monkey can get a degree by paying enough money, I am definitely proof of that. And lastly, they refused to send the records of our dying, diabetic dog to another vet when we requested them. They are blatantly lying through their teeth, and I refuse to let them manipulate uninformed potential clients.

Dr. Kang first and foremost uses your love of your pet to make as much money as possible. He endangered our dog. When we went to a different Local Vet Rancho wouldn’t even bother to return calls or send my dogs needed records for them to correct his poor care. I strongly suggest you stay away from Doctor ? Kang and the poor office management at Rancho
